Post words of wisdom here

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. Isaiah 26:3 AMP

Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, "Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!" And God granted him what he requested. 1 Chronicles 4:10 NASB

Man has two big aspirations in life to make a mark in. His work and his family. If he puts too much attention into either of them, the other suffers.

A man who possesses learning, but has no fear of Heaven, is like the manager(of a palace) who has the keys to the inside apartments, but lacks the one which opens the outside gate. How can he enter? - Rabba b. R. Huna

if he doesn't give it all up to Yhwh when he repents of his sinful life, for Yhwh to be in charge of everything, well, ... ... (look it up) ... (Yhwh will be in charge of everything, and He works it all out too, according to His Word - even every thought and imagination is to be willingly and joyfully 'crucified' and then all brought subject to Yeshua)

Jesus is a Counselor, acting as a character witness for us. :chin

yes, sometimes --- look up where Yeshua says "don't think I will stand up for you before the Father...." concerning some. I have to go now, but will try to look it up later if possible....

I was reaching for a more accurate depiction of the statement made by a brother which was 'Jesus is a lawyer'...

The last great freedom of man is the freedom to choose his attitude under any given set of circumstances.--Victor Frankl, noted Psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor

Or in layman's terms;

Life is 10% what it hands to you, and 90% how you react to it...

HVAC Philosophy: (:rofl2)

Are you a thermostat, or a thermometer? Do you merely reflect the environment, or do you change it?

read it again - "all brought subject to Yeshua" -

i.e. if a believer immersed in Yeshua doesn't give up everything in and about and pertaining to the believers life and choices and dreams and hopes and aims and goals,
then he remains like the rich young man who walked away
because he had something (anything) that he didn't want and choose joyfully and willingly to give up to
the One True Creator and Lord.
