[__ Prayer __] Prayer for Soldiers

Okay this is going to be vague.. I'm sure y'all can understand why..

But I have been deployed to Afghanistan for almost 8 months..

In that 8 months, we have experienced things, people dying etc..

but in the past two weeks.. it has picked up alot..
I have heard about more deaths in the past two weeks
than I have 8 months..

and so I just ask that y'all keep
these guys over here that have gotten injured in
your prayers.. and pray for the families of the soldiers
that have gotten killed..
Yesterday, I had to stop and salute
bodies of soldiers that were killed.. and that is
not nearly the first time that happened.. It was
harder the first time.. and now I have gotten numb to
it.. it kind of scares me.. I know that sounds bad
but it's just like.. I can't over think it and let it affect me
like it should because if I do that with every single incident..
it's going to drive us all crazy ya know?

I know that sounds bad.. it's hard to explain..
and I guess it scares me a little I feel like that..
numb when it comes to emotions.. but I dunno..

Also, pray for the soldier that is considered a POW, it is confirmed
that he has gotten captured by the Taliban (that is not opsec, it was
on Fox news)

And yeah.. if y'all could just pray that the soldiers here
will realize how much we need the Lord, and that He is here with us..

i understand that feeling of numb i will pray for u as it has been 4 yrs for me since combat and death can still be numbing to me, pm me and i will discuss more with u on that as ur tour probably will come to an end soon bog still one year?

lord i pray for those over in afghanistan, i've been there and know the hurt and ur reconcstructing me daily not along go i could nt feel i would block my feelings to empathise with others so as not to feel the hurt, but lord u said that pain would draw me unto u and never promised us no sorrows on the earth on that u woulbe there to cry upon, be with kim as she sees the death, help her and fellow soldiers not to be hard(unfeeling) and those that are lost to be saved amen

Kimberly we are with you too in prayer and in spirit, by Christ Jesus our lord.

Father in heaven ~

Precious in Your sight oh Lord are the deaths of Your saints. You are the Sovereign One, who guides every moment we live in, and sees to all our future. Lord, reach out Your hands of protection and guard over every man and woman in this war. Let You Holy Spirit bring Your great Comfort and Help now to those men who are wounded, give wisdom and skill to their doctors and nurses. Give courage Lord and strength that each one who is your child may endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus. I pray for Your love and grace to surround the families who have lost a son or a daughter. Please hepl them through thier grief oh God.

I pray for Kim's heart to be kept safe from any numbing... that You would help her to have many brothers and sisters about her~ and that she would have much opportunity and guidance from Your word.

I ask Father for those unsaved, that the door of the gospel would remain open, that every single one would hear of the salavation of our Lord Jesus, and would be pierced in their hearts by Your truth. Draw them to You, for no man can come unless You first draw them Lord, give them godly sorrow and repentance. let Your name be lifted up and made more glorious in this. In Jesus name I request. :amen
