[__ Prayer __] Prayers needed for my parents health

Hi all - My mom is having heart issues (AFib) and my dad is having complications with cataracts from his Type 1 diabetes. Please pray for their health. Thank you!

Lifting your family up, but you were asking about "meaningful work?" I hate to be Captain Obvious here, but being there for them now is about as meaningful as it gets!

Oh yeah, ahead of you there! My parents have been supportive of me and my siblings our entire lives and we've got a tight relationship. Looking out for each other. Its not perfect of course, nothing is. I'm not ready to lose either of them even though I know they are heaven-bound!

A lot of my frustrations with finding meaning and purpose in life are because I want a family of my own but that's not happening yet.

I do hear you, but congratulations on knowing your parents are in the Ark of safety. There's not a single family member I can say that about. (even though my Dad still attends the church where I was baptized as an infant) Add to that both my adult sons don't believe but are decidedly moving in the opposite direction and that's pretty rough. I say this to give you a different perspective on your same situation; sometimes that can make a world of difference ...

I'm very sorry to hear that and yes it does put things in perspective. I'm praying for your family. You never know when and where someone might come into their lives to witness to them which could make them reconsider. Most extended family isn't saved but years ago my mom's brother got saved through a local friend of his witnessing to him and inviting him to church. It was thrilling news. Praying for you and them!
