Proselyte of Your Magnificence: A love poem by wavy

Dejection was this realm called earth, despondency encased
That is, till I beheld the image of your holy face
Effulgent and celestial, your members scintillating
To gaze upon the fullness of your frame, exhilirating
With motion checked and mouth agape, on you my eyes transfixed
Marveling the incongruity of realms that now were mixed
You enjoined me to adjoin to you--with that I could not wrangle
And that paradox of union left creation in a tangle
For the softness of your voice mellifluently captured me
And of your every word I kept a mental sacristy
When you reached for me I felt within a beautiful impression
That by your pure, amorous touch was made ethereal connections
For the fire of your flaming hands ran through me to entrance me
And the life within your fingers left the spirit of me dancing

What invigorating moments, what a blessed convalescence!
Though I swooned and fell as slain inside the presence of your essence
But your lips, rescucitating, gently lighted upon mine
With a savor in them like that of an otherworldly kind:
A sweet nectar of divinity, and a manna from the heights
Like the showbread of the cherubs set in sempiternal light
Like a drop from Abram's bosom where the spirits soundly nestle
Like the tables of the kingdom set with rare metallic vessels
Then I was raptured in amazement by a new arousing sense
While reviving to the tastes of supernatural succulence
A redolence--the pristine scent of a flower of fabled flora
That dispensed with every stench of my dimension's fetid aura
Breathing fully all your fragrance, aspirating it repletely
Enamored by the kismet that had made us one completely
Overtaken by the power of your features' inundation
I'm converted to your splendor, glorious transfiguration
