Rev 13+17 are Different Beasts

I keep seeing that people confuse the two beasts of Revelation 13+17.
Lets look at some of the differences between the two beasts.

Rev 13 Beast

Rises up from the sea
7 heads
10 horns
horns have crowns
heads have "the name of blasphemy" on
leopard in appearance
bear feet
lion mouth
dragon gives power to beast
wounded head

Rev 17 Beast
beast is in the wilderness
beast if full of "names of blasphemy" (not just on the heads)

was... is not... ascend from the pit... yet is.
wondered at (worship?)
5 heads(kings) have fallen
beast is also the 8th head
10 horns are kings without power (so no crowns)
10 horns give power to the beast
10 horns kill the whore

So while the description of worshipped beast with 7 heads and 10 horns is the same... nothing else is.
These are two very different beasts.
They are found in different locations. Different number of heads (the Rev 17 beast acutely has 8 heads)
Very different descriptions... Rev 17 has differences... colour, rider, amount of blasphemies, 5 dead heads, not one wounded head.

So... would you say they are the same beast(why) or are they different beasts(why).

TLDR

But from what I have skimmed... I see that you and I don't read Revelation the same way.
Where in Revelation does it say ANY of what you are claiming?
Remember that John is only repeating what he was shown... John included NONE of his own thoughts... other that possibly a verse or two at the intro.
If John included any of his own thoughts or beliefs... then he failed to do as Jesus commanded him.
Where did all these ideas from? Not Revelation.
Maybe it is time for the Ancient teachings on Revelation to be reexamined in the light of the Spirt of Prophecy of the End Times.
Old ideas didn't work in the past(many false predictions) why would the same ideas work in the future?

In Revelation 17 when one understands who the whore of Babylon is and that beast she rides on then they will understand who it is that has always persecuted God's people and will continue to do so until the return of Christ.

I am sticking to the topic as we are talking about beast in which you mentioned there are three of them. If one does not give the full context as you have seen me do with scripture then it only remains a one sided conversation of I'm right you are wrong. These are discussions with everyone giving their understanding in how each one studies. If you do not want to discuss with others then simply do not reply to them, but everyone has a voice and the right to their understandings.

I see nothing in your OP in how you describe who this beast is with any scripture other then showing where it is mentioned in Rev 17. Why not give us your understanding of what and or who this beast is and what the seven heads and ten horns represent. This is all I have done in my reply was to respond to the OP.

So what scripture have you used to back up you position?
Three beasts described in Revelation. Two in chapter 13 + one in chapter 17.

The question in the OP was NOT who or what the horns/heads/etc represent.
But to show the differences and that they are not the same Beast.
Does chapter 13 beast have 5 dead heads?
Chapter 13 beast has crowns... but the chapter 17 beast does not.
And all the other differences mentioned.
You haven't addressed the actual argument.
Again... I would suggest that if you want to go off on a tangent then start your own thread. As this would be respectful to the people who want to follow the original thread.

But from what I have skimmed... I see that you and I don't read Revelation the same way.
Where in Revelation does it say ANY of what you are claiming?
Remember that John is only repeating what he was shown... John included NONE of his own thoughts... other that possibly a verse or two at the intro.
If John included any of his own thoughts or beliefs... then he failed to do as Jesus commanded him.
Where did all these ideas from? Not Revelation.
Maybe it is time for the Ancient teachings on Revelation to be reexamined in the light of the Spirt of Prophecy of the End Times.
Old ideas didn't work in the past(many false predictions) why would the same ideas work in the future?

But I didn't see it in your reply post... Do you agree that the third beast is different from the beast that rises from the sea?
