Seriously, is praise and worship a meaningful part of your relationship with God?

Praise and worship....maybe the most neglected part of the Christian life these days?
Is it an important and/or meaningful part of your relationship with God? Why or why not?

It IS meaningful for our church. Worship is as much physical and emotional as it is intellectual. King David danced for the Lord, and we are called on to make joyful noise.
 
Praise and worship glorifies God, that is why God created man was to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever.

I wouldn't say it's the most neglected part of the average Christian's life these days. When you consider out of all the people who call themselves Christians, only a small portion actually go to church on a regular basis and for the majority of those who actually go, going to church once a week (or less) is all they ever do regarding Christianity. That church service, whether it's in a church building, someone's home, or wherever, is supposed to be a "worship" service even if in reality half of it has little to do with actual worship. So I guess for the majority of those who say they are Christians and actually go to church once in a while, worship probably is the thing they do the most of even if it's only an hour a week. Sad but true.

If you are born again and you walk with God everyday, then of course it is meaningful and it is not at all neglected.

That depends a lot on which definitions one has for the terms Praise, and Worship.
To Praise, rejoice and hallalu-yah ? sing hymns ? reverently observe ? Pray ?

I believe that we should be reverent and glorify God at all times, every moment, constantly..
ever-conscious and aware that we think , move and act in the face of God.

It is the Whole relationship, not just a meaningful part IMHO, in total absence of it there is no relation.

Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee: And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever. Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;
(Deu 28:45-47 KJV)

Not having joy, and being thankful serving the Lord with Gladness brings a curse. Some don't think about it like that, but it's scripture.

we do have a church a couple hours from you in Sarasota, Brother Kieth fly's back and fourth "Flies?"
