Photographs sleeply eye

this a spot I have walked numerous times .it is the first city hall, realitor office and inn and metting hall with that large table with a fireplace where meals were served .it also where people stayed until their homes where built ,whether in city limits or way west of city limits .it was moved because a bigger motel was needed and it became the del prado and modernized ,stucco added ,people were staying in tents in the field to the south.note the earlier picture and the last one with a car .the horses were more common then cars then built as the bayhead inn then renamed the sleepy eye lodge, moved in 1925 ,razed in 1960

What year was this photo taken? Does this building still stand today?
no,long gone before I was born .its a reason why the historic society was founded .let me dig up a link ,the writers dad and the boy speak about and his dad built much of the homes I posted .he gives names and locations ,I have walked out what he said .found some ,learned what was before as some where razed .

In Galveston, Texas there are a lot of interesting buildings from like over a hundred years old. You would have a field day photographing them. I really enjoy old architecture.

You're reminding me of Curtis Mathis Television commercials. I had a Zenith TV.
I as a kid went to that wodtke and also the miracle mile one ,grew up in bell brothers shoe store as my dad would let us play in the stock room which was near wodtkes .back then we would mail parcels through wodtke 's ,they had a post office annex and rain it under contract then it went to Anthony's and back again . the voice you heard is one who has passed to be with the Lord .
