After 26 years I have given it up,no regrets.I wish the 160th tc well.
 
I will have a retirement ceremony on veterans island and I will post those photos.I'm in this photo.
 
The armory deserves a few photos in my route pic thread.I'm connected to it long before I joined the guard.it's units and history are 70s years.
 
Congratulations on this new phase of your life's journey, jasonc !
it will feel strange not being in the military for some time. they have a time to train ahead and full of challenges. part of me misses the struggle of learning, watching the men grow and being a part of that. I take pride in that I have made a difference in them.
 
I would imagine there will be a bittersweet sense for quite a while now since you're moving forward with your life, jasonc.

Don't be concerned, though .... our Lord has plans for you!
