That one is an ashram ,taoist based one a bunch of vegans who have gardens . Communal dining and seperate living quarters.

The problem with Christian communes .

Well,working outside and reaching the lost like quakers who don't actually grow based on converts

Adults unable to function outside of commune ,veterans have a lot of that as that is a very communal to the degree that the dod can control alot of your life . regimentation.imagine being punished over one of your buddies drinking and getting into trouble and you didn't try to stop them .

I get the desire to isolate especially now but that's not what we are called to .

I can see Christian socialism working in the sense that no one person owns capital and it being limited to say a Monastery setting communal eating, recreation areas, medical, and worship, with private quarters. I guess the issue would be how would it function ecconomicly? Most communes are based around a trade or farm. So that would need to be established.

Some Christians might use Acts 5 for that scam of communism. Yet the issue in scripture was lying about the sum of money they recieved for the land, not becauase they didn't give it all to the Church.

Like you say you can get punished for someone else's mistakes. That's what happens in communities, the word commune obviously comes from the word community. A couple of people do something stupid oit of millions and everyone else gets punished for it.

Everything fun and our freedoms are basically banned these days because of a couple idiots I don't even know or just being stupid. Why can't I enjoy Guy Fawkes anymore and let's off some crackers, because some idiots decide to shoot them at each other and someone gets there eye taken out, why should I get punished being responsible? . Or having a fire and beer on the beach, because a couple idiots leave there garbage and go stupid, I don't know them why should I be punished?.

Why did they take all the farmers guns who live in the country and don't cause no trouble, because a single moron from another country flipped out with a semi so everyone else loses there privilege.

It's a complete joke. Labeling everyone in society like we all irresponsible little babies.

Collective punishment and the military reasons for order and good unit morale was mentioned as an example. In that case it's needed and proper .

Despite I don't agree with the rules on dealing with dui and drinking problems. There's some leeway there,do I helicopter pilot my troops or let them vent and blow off steam .baby sitting adults simply encourages the opposite

There is a difference when it comes to the military i guess, you have to work together as a team and unite so it's very commune like, like the weakest is the strongest so you have to carry each other and build each other up. Something like that is understandable.

Talking about military, I seen this dude today wearing full camos and I'm like are you in the army, and he said no, and im like have you been or are going hunting or something, and he's like no, I'm like but your wearing full camos. And he didn't say anything.

That's like stolen valor. Only excuse to wear full camos is military or going bush for hunting or something. One peice of clothing because someone likes camo maybe for fashion or something is ok, otherwise it's just disrespectful.

Na, he admitted he was nothing military or ever been in the military.

Anyhow I should add to what i was saying where its everyone elses fault when one messes up, I mean we have freedom of belieif, opinion, speech, religion, and so on in general society and that means unity doesn't exist and we should have the right to independence and not being punished because of someone else's actions.

Anyhow I live basically in prison just outside of prison. Always have to be on guard in the trailer camp and stay vigilant because these individuals I stay with can flip out at any time. All these young punks think they can play table tennis against me and I kick there ass, and they have a cry, no control.

Apparently the attitude changed when the adult had a MM gang patch. I mean when your gang dont have a good name and members are always being arrested for manufacturing drugs, having illegal weapons, and assault charges, and so on, even the government somehow gives them like 3 million dollars of tax payers dollars because they stupid, I mean, dont you think law enforcement maybe take things a little more serious in the situation when they dealing with gang members and there goons?
