Spring Break!!!

Well I'm going home. So I might not be able to post much.

I'm actually now glad to go home because I get to spend time with my father. I also get to see my wonderful sister...man I miss her and my father so much. Wow I am in an even better mood now. :-D :-D :-D :-D

I don't get a spring break this year. Not that it matters, b/c I'd probably just stay home anyway.

I'm going to Mexico on a medical and building mission trip. I have been trying to plan a trip for 4 years and then my school put one together. It isn't Christian per say but 23 of the 25 people going are Christian. :-D

I need to get away from everything in this city and at school for a while. Less thinking and trying to get the endless amount of stuff done that needs to be done here. At some point after 3 straight years of work and school a person needs a break. Not getting away from things for that long can wear you down. :sad I thank God that He knows that I need a break from this city and that I need a reminder of why I am going to nursing school.

Thanx,

We are going on a mission trip to Fort Augdon (sp?), FL. We will be helping out with disaster relief. There are Twenty-something of us going from BPC (I lost count when it went above 25). I hope God uses me there, that He humbles me, reveals Himself, and more personally, i hope i can move on with some things in my life. I am so ready to get away from college and do some physical labor again! i miss working soooo bad! i mean, i got a job, but its not that straining on me (and the pay sux!). Please be in prayer for our BSU group over this spring break.

Back to u, Brutus!

Thanks Mac. Right now we're at 26, and I think next week will be awesome!

There will be two more teams leaving from BPC next week.

The BSU is also sending out a team going to Nicaragua, and that's a team of 10

Then there is a group leaving for Belaroos from the Christianity Department.

In total, I think we have close to 50 people leaving from our school to go into the feild!

Thats awesome to hear about people going and doing something constructive on spring break. It is much more rewarding to help people than to go on a trip that is all about self focused "relaxation." (many college aged people haven't figured out that alcohol poisoning isn't relaxing :-D )

I'm back...just thought I would let the ones who care know. :D

For once we finally agree on something.
