she goes on to say:
As soon as I stopped looking for a relationship, God made His presentation. As soon as I stopped trying to get pregnant, I got pregnant twice. As soon as I got my eyes off of these temporary things, I watched God bring them into my life. There's nothing wrong with desiring these things, what's wrong is when our minds become filled & occupied with these things - more than it is Christ. Don't let the things of this world become an idol to you. Trust Gods timing & understand that there's seasons under the sun for everything. Don't rush ahead of God on those things because you feel like God is taking too long. Our mind must be on eternal things & not this earth.

It's a strange one, but there is a certain Zen-like truth to what she's saying. Sort of like Matthew 16:25 "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it."

This syndochyne or a,b,b,a is a type of poetry that is common in the Bible.

It makes for great sound bites.
But all if first and second Samuel are interlinked poetry of just this sort. No, it doesn't read like that in English and some of the poetry is in the geography and anthropology of what was said.

Repetative selfish prayers dont get answered as the Most High already knows what you need. So its really lacking faith and not trusting in him.

This reminds me of an episode of Frasier where Roz was trying to advise a call-in frustrated looking for his true love, and wondering if he should give up. Roz relates how she also searched fruitlessly for many years, and finally discovered her someone special only after giving up. The caller then asks her what her actual advice is, was she saying to give up or not give up? Roz answers to not give up, but the caller says her story seems like it is to give up.
