Thanksgivings For Passover 2025

This weekend was the Passover celebration, and although Christians are no longer beholden to keep the Jewish Feasts, there is evidence from both the New Testament and early church history that Christians nevertheless observed some of them after a spiritual manner, as evidenced by passages like 1 Corinthians 5:7-8 (and others), where Paul stated, "Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you are truly unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."
The Feasts of Passover and Unleavened Bread ran together in a week long celebration, and the spiritual significance of Passover was the sacrifice Christ made on our behalf, making it possible for the Spirit to be poured out upon His spiritual body in the earth. Unleavened Bread meanwhile inspired them to give thanks to Him for providing the pure word of Life, through the teachings of the Holy Spirit.
A good way to "celebrate" the Passover after a spiritual manner is to thank God for being made part of His spiritual body. For Charismatics, this is even more significant in light of passages like 1 Corinthians 12:4-12, where it describes His body as having been given spiritual gifts in order to operate in the fulness of God in Christ:
4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.... 7 the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. 12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
I am extremely grateful for Christ making me part of His spiritual body, and I am also grateful for other members of His body whom He has privileged me to be able to interact with. So the following is my way of giving thanks to Him for all of you, and the contributions you have made and continue to make in my life.
Blessings in Christ,

Angelina. Thank you sister for sharing the amazing gifts God has given you, both through visions, dreams and prophetic words, and for the friendship you have extended to me. I am grateful and blessed to know you. I pray He continues to use you powerfully every day for the rest of your life. You are a blessing to many, and you have been a tremendous blessing to me as well.
hawkman. Thank you brother for being used of God to minister to my life supernaturally on an almost daily basis, receiving dreams from God through which he continues to light my path and keep me safe from harm and walking wisely in the affairs of life. I cannot thank you enough for everything you do.
RandyK. Thank you brother for interacting with me in the study of God's word together. I cherish His word more than anything, yet it is not always easy finding those who will get into it more in depth than just a cursory run through. Your responses have always been uplifting and Spirit-filled, and have encouraged me to keep writing and giving myself to my primary calling, which is the teaching of God's word.
Free WIP. Thank you brothers for being a pleasure to work with on staff. Your wisdom shines through in the way you supervise the running of this site, and your discernment proves you to be vessels the Spirit of God is using to keep many safe and protected spiritually, so that they can continue growing in the things of God in this community. Your defense of the gospel is not to be taken for granted either.
stovebolts. I cannot say enough about your leadership. Your decision-making on some things truly astounds me, and I pray the Lord gives you and your wonderful wife long lives to continue serving Him, not only in worship but also in enabling this site to continue running and functioning properly. Blessings in Christ to you, my brother, and may the Spirit of God bless your home and your family abundantly.
JLB. Thank you brother for all the contributions you make to this community, in both the things you share regarding the spiritual gifts but also the interaction you provide on a whole host of other issues. In all honesty, your presence is invaluable here, and highly appreciated.
Br4nd0n. Thank you my brother for being my friend, and for being used of God numerous times to shine light in the darkness and protect me spiritually. Never forget how valuable you have been to me personally, because you have.
Sister. Thank you for the kindness you have shown to me, and being a freind when I needed one. I pray the Lord continues to use you in visions and dreams as well as in worship ministry, to bring glory to His name, and reward to you in eternity.
Louiss11. Thank you brother for the dreams you have shared more recently. They have been a breath of fresh air, and brought back remembrance of things the Lord showed me in the past. I pray the Lord continues to use you in this area, to continue shining light upon what the enemy wants to keep hidden in darkness.
Blessings to anyone else I may have forgotten. I didn't want to go another day without giving thanks to the Lord for the members of His body He has allowed me to minister with. I am very thankful for you all.
And thank you Lord for making all of it possible, by paying the price for all of us.
