Bible Study The Bride Of Christ 2

There must come a time in the plan of God when the bride is no longer motivated by how she was raised, trained, or taught, for to go into this family she must have the family spirit (adoption; trained to live in the family of God) and take on the nature of her lover.
There is not one thing that can be brought into that family which will enhance its importance.
Until this miracle takes place and her love becomes pure for her lover, motivated only by Him, it is more than likely to be steps of progression bringing her to that place.

We see the church being led from one truth to another to bring it into the fullness of Christ. God's plan for everything to begin with a lamb, slain before the world ever began, and calls for all things to be things to be consummated in that lamb in the end. God will use use these very steps doctrinally, progressively bringing us into the fullness of Christ.
In the meantime, He will reach us as He did those in the past by the reformation truth of Martin Luther, that the just will be saved by faith. By John Calvin, with the interpretation of the doctrine of justification.
By John Wesley, that consecration be added to the doctrine of justification.
By the revivalist, by the missionary movement, and by the latter rain outpouring.
All of these are progressive steps leading to Jesus.

The Bride of Christ was hand picked by the Father before the foundations of the world. Sort of like....John 17:6 "I have manifested your name to the people (Bride) whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them (Bride) to me, and they (Bride) have kept your word." (Red is my emphasis)

The Bride of Christ is so precious to Him. The Father not only picked each one of the Bride, He protected them against all enemies. The book of Psalms is David's story of one who is part of the Bride. O how God supplied the protection and guidance in order to present David to His Son as part of His Bride.

One day yonder, Jesus will receive His Bride. That future wedding ceremony will be like no other. Just to think that two old scoundrels like Bill Taylor and me will be invited, all dressed up in white, to take the Hand of our blessed Groom to be forever united in Him in the New Jerusalem. Glory, High Glory!!

The Bride is made up of true believers in Christ Jesus from the first day they were born a-new until the day they pass from this life into the next. A fervent love that never quits!! Amen

You think Taylor will be there, I bet he will. Taylor I'm playing, I wouldn't doubt if you are the first to be served, love you my friend.
Your service Will never go unrecognized, my hand goes over my heart when the National Anthem is played, did I mention I stand at atension as well.
Men and women died to give me the freedom to do so as well as kneel if you chose but I'm trying to figure out what the protest is all about, TV time well they are getting that. I think it's popular to be some kind of different, showcase the lack of respect.
As you know, we are all about the respect. Many I have heard will not watch it, I have never been a fan, better things to do on a Sunday.

The first and last step is love. Nothing else matters.

The first step, by the bride, was born out of love for the Truth (Bridegroom), but just as quickly as the Truth appeared it disappeared again. Reason being is that the Truth revealed is a gift. The gift remains but the giver of Truth, the Bridegroom, leaves anonymously. The bride is left longing for the Bridegroom.

This got the bride to start seeking for the lover (Truth/Bridegroom), taking on anything that will bring her closer to the Bridegroom. But she finds that both Truth and Bridegroom is getting harder to find. Out of desperation she starts turning back. Discarding anything that preoccupies her mind from her Bridegroom. She discards everything that is not love.

The less she becomes the closer she feels His love. Her final progressive step is to embrace death for eternal life _ the final mortal act towards unconditional love.

John 15:12-13 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.
Romans 6:8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

In the first step of being loved by Truth, the self (body-mind) claimed it. The final step of loving the Truth, God consciousness (soul-mind) disclaimed the self.

The Bride lays down her life (everything in self) for eternal life (Everything in Christ).

I like this post very much Hermit, Bravo!
Especially this...."The less she becomes the closer she feels His love. Her final progressive step is to embrace death for eternal life _ the final mortal act towards unconditional love."

I did nothing the man I sought to follow had not done earlier, over two decades, in the same War Zone. Until the middle of my second tour, I did not understand why he, a Combat Medic, cried as I departed to go help the people on the ground and when I did, then, I knew how much he thought of me and I cried. We grew up hard and though he became involved in some of it, he loved even me. In that respect he was Christ-like.

I do not want to be the first served and will be happy to take the last seat, I only wish to be in the presence of out LORD.
