The Cross by Arthur Blessitt

So I was at a new used book store today that I never knew about but it opened up 3 years ago nearby and I was looking through their Christianity books.

I ended up picking up this book today. I've not started it yet, but it looks promising. On the cover it says;

38,102 Miles
38 Years
1 Mission

From what I have gleaned it's about a guy named Arthur Blessitt who has carried a 12 foot cross in every nation and major island group in the world.

Pretty impressive! Anyone know of the story/book? I'm going to start reading it most likely tomorrow and wanted to see what others thought of it.

Interesting! Let me know how you like it. I might read it this summer. I've got a little collection of books I plan on reading this summer.

I met Arthur Blessit when he was "young"--but then so was I...... going down to Key West, Florida. :) He didn't have the wheel on the back end of the cross back then, and it dragged along the side of the highway in the broken gravel. I was already a Christian then, and didn't keep him from his travels. I've seen some of his "travelogue" I guess you could call it, on TBN. Such a man of faith, so blessed by God in his calling. He travelled the whole world preaching Christ crucified, resurrected and coming again. There are many, many miracles displayed in his travels... it should be an interesting read.
