In Acts 2, Peter quotes Joel using imagery that is amost identical, but Peter tells his listeners they are seeing it fulfilled.

I believe Peter is speaking of how mankind couldn't see the natural light of God through Jesus.
Also the the moon darkened, turned to blood is God's people suffering persecution.

So "the day of the Lord" iis related to our Kings' ministry, victory over death and the result of it,

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psa.118:24 KJV

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

Man, when was I interpreting the Word of God? Aren't we taking about "a new Jubilee" in your own post? Is this a bait and switch or something?

GOD told the Israelites that they were to farm the land for 6 years and let it rest on the seventh. They were to do this for seven cycles of seven years. That was total of 49 years. The fiftieth year was to be a year of Jubilee. They were to let the land rest. All debts were forgiven. If you had bought land from another Israelite that land returned to the original owner, etc.(Now the earth will be returned to the original owner-Revelation 11:15-18) This was GOD's Jubilee cycle. The Israelites didn't keep it which is why they went into exile. GOD exiled them to let the land rest.

GOD said His breath would not always strive with man but his days would be 120 cycles. If these are Jubilee cycles as I suggest, it means man's days are 6000 years. 120x50=6000. Remember what David said.
Psalm 90:4 (KJV 1900): For a thousand years in thy sight
Are but as yesterday when it is past,
And as a watch in the night.
Peter alludes to this also.

To GOD a Day is as a thousand years. Remember what GOD said to Adam? He told him that the day he ate from the tree of knowledge he would die. Adam ate and he died at 930 years, just short of a Day. This is the prophetic Day, a thousand years. Remember in Genesis, GOD worked for 6 days and rested on the seventh. How long are 6 prophetic days? 6000 years or 120 cycles. GOD worked for 6 days. His breath will strive with man for 6000 years or 6 Days. GOD rested on the seventh Day. After 6000 years we have Christ's reign for 1000 years, the seventh Day and last GOD's Day, or the seventh and last millennium. GOD rested on the seventh Day.
