The difficult times the bible talked about

Have been busy these days! A stadium of activities flanking my privacy. :D

There is this issue I'm struggling with: I don't think I believe it.

The bible talked about difficult times: including times of hardship. Jesus testified it. Is that infinitely?

I think what HE meant is that it comes for a while. It doesn't gladden the heart of God when people remain in poverty; when God can supply all our needs. Maybe we don't receive because we ask amiss, or we missed our destiny track.
So how true is this that some remain poor throughout life, and it is God's will?
(PLEASE DIFFICULT TIMES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABSENCE OF MONEY)

If I may add: do you believe there are destiny helpers?

So if we claim that some will remain poor forever, then we can all assume other non-monetary challenges will never go.

Hi Brother Classik, I suppose the good news is that everything works for good to those of us that love God (Rom 8:28), and we know from scripture that it is God working in us to will, and to do of His good pleasure (Php 2:13). Well that tells us that God is interested in our welfare, and Rom 8:31 says, what shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (And that includes Satan). Satan can merely accuse us day and night to our Father Who sees only the righteousness of Jesus in us.

So why are you having trouble? I read in 1 Cor 11:1 that we’re to follow Paul as he followed Jesus, and that after Jesus told Ananias in Act 9:16 that Paul was going to suffer for Jesus’ name’s sake. Have you yet been beaten, jailed, and even been beheaded for Christ’s sake? It’s evident we don’t know what the trial in our lives is producing for eternity while we’re in it, but consider 1 Pet 1:7, That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

The following pamphlet I wrote may be of help in understanding it more.

Hey, brother Classik!

In one of the most quoted verses in scripture, John 16:33 we are told we will have strife. We've read it 1000 times, and we still don't know what to make of it when we do. At least I don't.
Ecclesiastical 1:8-11 says there is nothing new to the human experience under the sun, yet we wonder when we have hardship. At least, I do.

I was just reading Acts 5 in my devotionals this morning. In Acts 5:41, after being jailed and then brought before the Sanhedrin, the apostles rejoiced for being counted worthy to suffer in His Name. That's the place we should be in, but I agree, it's hard.

We as believers know the troubles we're going through, and we look around at people who seem to be floating thru life, and that's a lie spawned from Hell, I believe, purposed to make us feel beaten down. But if we knew exactly what others are forced to deal with, it would probably cause us to collect our troubles and be content with them. That's why I quickly ditched Facebook and haven't been on in years and years. People paint the image of the easy life they want the world to see, and it compounds the beaten down feeling you have.

Hello Classik,

it is pretty standard in our personal relationships to go through the wilderness and face trails and tribulations

trails and tribulations even though they are difficult and challenging have a purpose to help us grow and overcome areas in our life where we struggle and wrestle with certain attitudes and behavior

i dont believe it is indefinite as in you must suffer always, but i think it can be used to humble us and help us to repent of certain issues if applicable and to start again

i believe poverty is a curse and is not a blessing however i believe it certain circumstances it can be used to correct and teach us lessons to help us prioritize organize and manage our motives and objectives

i think when Jesus gave the parable about the sower and the seed i believe the 3rd one about seed falling among thorns is a common experience for many Christians about the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful Mathew 13.13-23

im not saying this is what you are doing i just think that we can experience any four of those seeds at different times through out our lives not just when we receive salvation, but can we become distracted and follow certain paths until we are back on the straight and narrow

I dont believe in the prosperity gospel as in the more you tithe the more you thrive, i do believe in bible prosperity seek you first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you Mathew 6.33

I believe the enemy comes to steal kill and destroy from us but that Jesus has come to give us life and life more abundantly i believe it is every believers right and heritage to prosper in every area of there life

its also important to remember Jesus mentioned not to only lay up treasures on earth for ourselves but to also to look at the big picture and remember to invest our wealth in heaven where we would be rewarded Mathew 6.19-21

if you having issues in certain areas of your life i would ask seek and knock Jesus is the only one that can reveal or show you the reason or cause of certain manifestations in our lives Mathew .7.7-8

Peace
