The Great Porn Experiment (interesting)

I'm not in the proper place to preach this.but why on earth if God made the organs and neurons for sexual pleasure and the desire would he torment us saying it's a sin? I'm sure eve wasn't ugly to Adam and vice versa.God gave Adam ,Eve.she was a gift to him to cure his loneliness.I bet he wasn't sad or ungrateful when he saw Eve.

Sex with your wife is covenantal and sacramental. Porn ruins that in so many ways, and our sex-obsessed culture has trampled upon that so much that 90% of people think sex is a filthy act. It can be filthy, joining your flesh outside of a covenant or a sacrament as a means to gratify the flesh nature, just as filthy as it is to eat as a glutton (and I'm guilty of both things, Lord forgive me) -- adultery and fornication are evil, but the marriage bed is pure, creative, and life-giving.

Amen Blake your comment hit the nail on the head

I doubt very much that there is not an element of lust involved with the sex act. To me it's ludicrous and dishonest to say otherwise.

There are a whole host of various sects that turn the procreation thing into some holy grail quest. Lust is lust. Deal with it for what it is. Men who claim they have sex without lust are pulling their own leg. This kind of lust is supposedly "allowed" in the christian marriage system as "not a sin" but it is lust, so let's not kid ourselves. Sex and LOVE between 2 married people is OK, scripturally. The patriarchs of christianity in at least 2 cases didn't seem to have any issues with sex with a "slave woman" or having multiple wives in the cases of Abraham/Jacob.

I don't think the act is evil. I don't think the act is holy. It's a matter of the flesh.

John 3:6
That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

Holy sex? Nah. That's pushing things where they don't belong.

If God creates it before the fall it's pure.,everything to include worship and bible teaching is impure in comparison to the nature of things to come.we have egos and even church that doesn't go away.does that mean teaching and the teacher is bad?

I don't know about you guys, but from my perspective sex is an aspect of a relationship that depends on both people wanting or being able to have it. (At least in a relationship that respects eachother.) When a guy is committed to their wife and their wife is sick, is having her period, or just doesn't want to, the guy has to wait. With porn that's not the case. Even when you enter sinful sex, like adultry and fornication, it's not as pluntiful as porn. But when in a married commitment, sex is good, and it's also balanced by the relationship so it doesn't consume a person's attention, as well as balanced with the relationship to strengthen patience.

In my opinion God gave us a wonderful thing to be able to have sex, enjoy it, and even start a family out of it. And He gave a counter measure to the experience by having it in the context of a relationship. When we have sex outside of a married relationship it has no balance to keep it in control, and in fact ruins many other aspects such as harming the family your in through adultery; or starting a family before there are stable parents commuted to care for a child through fornication.
