The Kings of the South and the North

We know that the world divided into two allies, 1. NATO and its supporter countries 2. Russia, China, Iran, North Korea.

This is the situation that mentioned in the Book of Daniel chapter 11 verses 2-4.

Kingdom of Greece represent NATO. Kingdom of Persia represent Russia, China, Iran, North Korea.

Verse 2 said that who will be far richer than all the others, this is very likely talking about China. He will stir up everyone against the kingdom of Greece (v2), now we can see that Philippine's president Duterte, who denied to collaborate with the US and against US.

Donald Trump is going to take office next year, many cities have begun to protest Donald Trump, especially the cities in California.

California even plan to secede from US, they plan to vote for referendum to leave US in the spring 2019, called Calexit and followed by Texas.

This situations are very similar to the Daniel 11:2-4. His empire will be broken up and parceled out toward the four winds of heaven. (v4)

How do you think?

The king of the north was the Seleucid empire, and the king of the south was the Ptolemaic empire. They evolved from the Greek Empire of Alexander the Great.

Daniel chapter 11 and 12 are correlated. If you read through the chapter 12, you would find that which is happen at the end of the time.
Besides, Alexander the great was the people of about 300 BC. 300 BC, The Lord Jesus hasn't even born, how could it be considered is the end time?

Sure they are correlated. But Old Testament prophecy usually has a 'near - far' aspect. I.O.W. it starts by predicting something that is about to happen in the near future, then finishes by predicting a greater fulfillment in the distant future. In the case of Daniel chapter 11, it starts with a prophecy concerning Israel during the Greek era, and then projects a greater fulfillment at the end of time. (chapter 12)

This is a proper way of interpreting prophecy. Some people call it 'double fulfillment' but I call it 'near/far fulfillment.'

One interpretation is not only the geographical regions of the north and south, but the original peoples of this geography that relocated over the years. Hence, the north and south not being the exact same boundaries as the bible maps. The northern Kingdom is that of a 10 nation confederacy and is that of the beast. I personally believe this is partly a European union minus certain nations who will be the the object of wrath along with the nation of Israel. Thus, for example, Brexit was prophesied indirectly by virtue of this fact because they are not from the same nations or background of people-- Britain is not to be counted amongst the other nations. As for the south, that is taking shape more and involves Iran and radical Islam and associated nations. It's a tad more obvious than the north, but I see Germany ripe for a strong Trump-like leader when Merkel made an immigrant mess of the nation. Germany does not have a good one in sight right now (like another Hitler) but expect them to rise, to reorganize Europe and become a superpower that rivals the USA and Russia. But unlike Hitler, this leader will be more charismatic and initially bring peaceful solutions to the worlds problems, but not without later warfare. I took personal notice that end times nations tends to be grouped roughly with Noah's descendents-- Ham, Japheth, Shem and the Israelite nations, a special branch of the Semites. Ham appears to be to be more of the King of the South nations, Shem the King of the North (Assyrian), and Japheth those Kings of the east mentioned, Gog, Magog, etc. and the Israelite nations are Israel itself, the USA, Britain and the nations of the Commonwealth such as Canada, Australia, etc and also European nations in the NW Europe. These, in my belief, are in for big trouble during the Tribulation. But they they "shall be saved out of it"--- ultimately.

I like that, cyberseeker, definitely Seleucids and Ptolemies are the "near"
and it could be too soon to tell who is the "far" kings of North and South

It's not just End Times that has 'near/far'

For unto us a child is born - a son is given

had a NEAR in some boy in Isaiah's time born to an almah (young woman of marriageable age)
and a FAR in Jesus born to a parthenos (actual virgin)
well after Isaiah's time, OT was translated into Septuagint Greek, and the technical word for virgin was used, whereas Hebrew almah did not technically address virginity

we got 'near/far' with Abomination of Desolation, too -- maybe TRIPLE fulfillment...
