The Last Days Will Be Filled With Unfaithfulness To The Spirit And Flesh

I have always been intrigued by Jesus Christ saying that man's last days will be like Noah's time and like the days during Sodom and Gomorrah.

In Noah's day the issue was women having intimate relations with satanic beings that produced offspring. This activity brought God's condemnation of a flood. In Sodom and Gomorrah's time two angels came to warn Lot and his family to flee the immorality before God initiated judgment.

It is interesting that the stipulation of the warning by the two angels was that they should flee and not look back. Of course it states in the bible that Lot's wife did look back and she instantly turned into a pillar of salt while God initiated judgment upon Sodom and Gomorrah.

In both stories the woman did not fare very well. I believe that the woman is representative of the Christian church since the church is described as the bride of Jesus Christ.

In the story of Noah satanic beings seduce the women into intimate relations. Today this is indicative of the Muslim religion seducing the Christian church. The bride of Christ (hint: Christian Church) has stopped being faithful to her husband (hint: Jesus Christ) and has instead gone off and become the adulterous partner to the Islamic Faith.

Today we see many Christians embracing Islam as a equal partner along with Jesus Christ. This ménage à troi of religiosity is what will bring God's condemnation as it did in Noah's day. Noah's time reflects a deterioration of ones spiritual commitment and this is indicative of today's Christians embracing Islam (hint: and/or the antichrist when he/she arrives).

Meanwhile the story of Sodom and Gomorrah reflects a deterioration of our commitment to our flesh that God purposed for a man and a woman. Today the Christian church, the bride of Christ, is given up on its commitment to its husband Jesus Christ and is seeking the approval of all those that ignore God's declaration that a man and a woman are the only relationship that God ordains.

Both stories of Noah's Flood and Sodom and Gomorrah are highlighting the fact that Christianity is not a faithful partner and has a sinful desire to have multiple partners (hint: multiple religious beliefs and multiple sexual beliefs – spirit and flesh) that brings disgrace and disrepute upon the Godhead.

In the story of Hosea God orders Hosea to marry an adulterous wife. In the same way Jesus Christ marries an adulterous wife, the Christian church. The book of Hosea emphasizes that disloyalty to God was spiritual adultery. Today we see the same spiritual disloyalty, and hence spiritual adultery, that occurred in Noah's day with the Christian church seeking the approval of other religions and the disloyalty to the flesh whereby the church seeks to mollify the sin of homosexuality as in Sodom and Gomorrah's day where consequently Lot's wife (the Christian church) turns into a pillar of salt.

Jesus Christ said that the last days will be like Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah where the Christian church will become adulterous and disloyal and seek out the practices and approval of other religions (hint: Islam) while simultaneously championing the sin of homosexuality.

We are indeed in the last, and final days, of mankind that will ultimately lead to the wicked being judged as depicted in the Book of Revelation. Believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and rest assured that when God moves to bring judgment against man's unfaithfulness and wickedness, God, in the person of Jesus Christ, will snatch up all those who remain faithful to him to be with him in heaven, and this is called the Rapture!

God Bless

Very good my friend. I live about 25 miles from Northampton, Massachusetts. At one time there was a great revival in the Town. Now, it is a mecca for homosexuality. I live about 15 miles from Lake Pleasant, MA. Since the late 18 hundreds and 19th Century it has been the location for witches and warlocks and demon filled folk from all over the world to meet in July of every year to have their "conference". They even have an airport there for their planes from everywhere. They offer to the public, fortune telling and a bunch of other satanic goings on. The Christian Churches in this area get under attack. We have come to expect that and fast and pray for protection because it is very real.

On my dead end street, there are 11 one family homes, 3 are the houses owned by homosexuals. So far, I have not had the chance to witness to them and present Romans Chapter one. Almost every day I pray for their repentance and Salvation.

Soooooo, what you say, I'm seeing it happen before my eyes. We need to WAKE UP and witness to these lost people before they go to hell.

Thank you ugmug for this thread. I hope that folk will reckon with this final age and live for Christ holy lives and separate from the world's influence.

Just a few minutes ago the same scripture on Christ's statement came to my thoughts and now your post.
Thanks.

Chopper sad to say there are some churches who refuse to preach about the sinfulness of sin and its consequences. They want to preach soft things. The churches are preaching on love without showing the need for repentance..the turning away of sin. Some churches do not preach about hell at all. Christ's words ring true, there will be false prophets and many..the vast majority will be deceived. Many will be just like in Noah's time, when they realised the flood was coming it was too late.

if there aint no hell what does any one need to be for

Fortunately or unfortunately there is a hell. My problem is, those three homosexual couples are really nice people, accept for their terrible sin of homosexuality. Somehow, the Holy Spirit will show me how to break through their outward being nice, to the danger that awaits them....

Romans 1:32 Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. (ESV)

Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (KJV)

Yes, unfaithfulness!
What do you think about Paul's writing (only) to the "faithful" saints at Ephesus and Colossae?
So, theoretically, all of the good stuff he talks about is (only) for them!
None of it is for the UNfaithful.

If you don't mind me jumping in her BCsenior, the "good stuff" as you call it simply would have fallen on the deaf ears of the UNfaithful.

No, I don't mind you jumping in her ... as long as she is your wife! What's her name anyway?

One reason for the good stuff is to point God's elect (chosen ones) to that narrow path to eternal life.
You realize, don't you, that the UNfaithful I am talking about are only "so-called" believers.

There are 2 kinds of believers: faithful ones and unfaithful ones.
Da faithful ones have the correct heart attitude and are living righteously.
Even OT people (without the new nature and the indwelling Holy Spirit) could do this!
Please witness my favs in Zach and Liz (Luke 1).

In the story of Noah satanic beings seduce the women into intimate relations.
The reason for God's act is found at: Gen 6:5-7
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”
It's what God sees today.
In the story of Noah satanic beings seduce the women into intimate relations.
Today this is indicative of the Muslim religion seducing the Christian church.
:shame :confused2
Where ever you got that, put it back. It's a wild goose chase.

Yes, we are told that just prior to Christ's return in power and great glory, mankind would be living like in the days of Noah and Sodom and Gomorah, that is living for their own desires, ignoring any warnings of impending disaster. While the world is certainly increasing in evil, I believe those words of Jesus refer to the end of the 7 years tribulation described in Daniel and Revelation, not now.

Another point, how can the Church Body of Christ be His bride, and the same time be a son?
Rom. 8:14 "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God."
Rom. 8:17 "....and if sons, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ..."
Gal. 4:26 "...for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith."
Eph. 1:5 "He destined us in love to be his sons through Jesus Christ,:
My point is, it takes a son to be an heir, and even a joint heir with Christ.
IMO, the bride is Jewish believers and the wedding feast alluded to by Jesus, will be on earth during he Messianic Kingdom.
