[Jhn 14:28-29
28 "You have heard Me say to you, 'I am going away and coming [back] to you.' If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, 'I am going to the Father,' for My Father is greater than I.
29 "And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe.
John 14:23-25
23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
24 "He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.
25 "These things I have spoken to you while being present with you.

10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

[6] But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching?
xxxx I went through the milk for 3 years, then I went through the meat for 11 years. I went through the milk learning the verses and looking for the Holy Spirit in me. I found the Holy Spirit quoting verses and walked after Him crucifing the flesh(feelings & emotions) for 11 years one verse at a time. Then I came to the revelations of alot of verses all at the same time one after another. Which is the evidence that Christ was behind these revelations through the Holy Spirit. I have been receiving these revelations for about 16 years now. And they explain things that no one else can explain with just one or two verses. I am fully persuaded and convinced of the authority and power of believing them.
These are the revelation of Jesus Christ for obedience to the faith. Not the revelations to future events. One cannot know what kind of spirit they are of until they come to the revelations of Jesus Christ.

[2] I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago--whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows--such a one was caught up to the third heaven.
[Heb 12:2
[2] looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of [our] faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Luke 9:55
55 But He turned and rebuked them, and said, "You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.
