This is something that comes up in systems research, again and again. There is an inherent order in nature, even in chaotic systems. Yes, chaotic systems are orderly and exhibit their own laws. Look up the Feigenbaum Number and be amazed. It has applications in many things formerly thought beyond analysis.
The "Constructal Law"; "For a finite-size system to persist in time (to live), it must evolve in such a way that it provides easier access to the imposed currents that flow through it." also applies here.
It's a fascinating field, with useful applications appearing in all sorts of unlikely places. And yes, to me it is one of those "invisible things, clearly seen" within His creation that shows His power and majesty.
