The Second Annual God Bless America Party Thread

Cheese please. Cheese is tasty, and has calcium.

Alright then it's almost ready. :) JohnDB never responded to my question so I'll take that as he doesn't want anything, (unless he tells me otherwise at some point) but does anybody want any chips? :wink

Also now is the time to salute our US Armed Forces. God bless you and thank you for all the work that you do and putting your lives on the line so we can be free. :salute

I actually saw them perform live once. They were some of the tightest musicians I've ever seen.

You mean the people in the video that I posted above?

I'll eat a protein bar instead of the chips. I need the protein.

Sorry, I didn't know to buy any at the virtual grocery store. Do you have any particular flavor that you like? Here's your virtual cheeseburger though and I will be eating a real one soon. :biggrin2 I'll go ahead and eat your chips for you. :lol Go ahead and grab the ketchup that I set out earlier. :wink Anybody who wants chips can help themselves by the way. :biggrin

The US Navy Band. It was a long time ago, so probably not the exact same people.

Oh well would you like any virtual food Kevin? And look guys I realize this isn't a patriotic song but I'm running out fast. Besides that the people who fought for our country are victorious in my eyes anyways. :biggrin2 Yes JohnDB,.. just when you thought you heard the last about Brendon Urie. ROTFL!!! :hysterical

A cheeseburgie would be fine.

Okay sure and I just realized that last song mentioned the Fourth of July as well lol! :lol If anybody knows any more patriotic songs I would really appreciate it otherwise after this song the music is probably going to turn into country. This song really isn't patriotic but it's still American. :)

I'm really glad that you enjoyed it. :) It turns out that I do know one more patriotic song but I don't know about you guys but I'm sort of getting sick of adding more patriotic tunes now anyways. :neutral So now I think I'm going to do anything goes with music.

I decided to post the second song because even though life is definitely a highway, with the Lord as our driver we can overcome all obstacles that get in the way of our path. :yes Plus I just love the song and Cars is awesome! :biggrin2 (the sequels just aren't as good :nonono) The third song can be towards our troops, God, or any or both of the above (it's both for me :) ) and I also love the oldies! :sohappy

Btw, it's also sort of funny that when I was in New Mexico I actually visited a diner on route sixty-six or what used to be route sixty-six anyways. :) Oh yeah and tomorrow night I'm also going to a sixties concert in the park if the weather holds out so those are other good reasons why I posted them. :lol Boy it's not even July yet and I'm already starting to get excited about my spooktactular virtual Halloween party that's coming back this October. :woot

60s music is interesting.

Ikr? It might be a few decades before my time but I still really enjoy it. :) So yeah from now until the fourth of July unless anybody else has patriotic songs that they would like to post I think I will post regular songs to celebrate our independence now and that fits because of the fact that I have the freedom to do so. :wink

Also today just happens to be half Christmas (June 25th) so I think that even though I don't start my Christmas in July party until Monday,.. I will go ahead and post one of my favorite Christmas songs as well. :biggrin2

The concert sucked last night. There were hardly any songs I knew so I left early. I figured that I would post some of my favorite songs from the sixties and then since I've been sick today I'm going to go ahead and hit the sack early probably. :sleep

Here's a song that I recently found out that I really like. :) (Only a few more days until the fireworks. :woot)

As promised here's Macy's forty-third Fourth of July Spectacular show that will begin at eight ET. :biggrin2

Also here's another patriotic song that I liked that I forgot to post. :)
