Is there a point to this thread?

I understand it. Most of the time when I was in my college classes, I felt like sleeping. With the Holy Spirit teaching me, I can't get enough. :woot2

I can't see how that has anything to do with the verse you posted. If you're going to post Scripture, you need to explain what you mean by posting it.
In a few days i will. too relaxed

That was the strangest opening post I've seen since my "Post something Random" thread on TheSpacePort a few years ago. :biggrin2

Yea, I'll BET you are relaxed.
I typed that bordering sleep.

I figured it's self explanatory. The ways of the world's wisdom is nothing but vain pursuit and monotonous endeavors. However it is the LORD that makes one privy in ways the world can not fathom to the point of mind being blown. And all I'm saying is God's cool for that.

O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. Psalm 92:5

So, should Christians refrain from going to university?

No.

We as born again Christians should embrace where the Spirit of Truth leads them. Right now I'm realizing more and more that I don't need the debt slavery of college to teach me. For God feeds the sparrows.

A good degree in engineering can certainly set you up for a great career, job security and very good earnings. But so many degrees are a waste of time AND money.

And........................
Going into debt so that you can move away and attend college may be an outmoded way of 'learning' anyway.

This guy is not always right, but he's right more often than most:

It didn't come across that way at all, the odd images gave me the idea you were hitting the bong while posting. :lol

I like "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" when you work with kids, you wish they had a little more fear put in em!
