Hey Guys,
I just recently read 'The Worshiping You' by Tom Inglis. Its a fairly recent book by Destiny Image, however i have found it to be very powerful. Tom explains how he had an encounter with God in 1984 and how God gave him a vision of what the church is going to look like. He explains that God showed him that "A time is coming when the church will not rest, day or night. Congregations will come together in shifts to worship God, simply because they want to. Their theme will be 'Holy, Holy, Holy.' Sundays will no longer be known as the day of the worship but another day of worship."
The book challenged me, as it explained that the purpoose of my existence was to worship God. Unless I connected my life into worshiping God, it had not met its purpose. The book has challenged me to become more intimate with God, by not just engaging myself in singing to Him. But in creating a 'lifestyle' of worship.
The book has certainly tranformed my life. It would be interesting to see what other think when they read it.
