Why wouldn't we want her to have a mouth and nose?
Is this a picture of her praying in church? Where's her head covering? (1Co 11:13)

1. Jesus said He came to give us a life more abundant.
She doesn't look like she has an abundant life.

2. I thought we weren't living under the Law?
Are we? I'd have to empty out my closet!
(not that my attire is not modest in nature..

3. She looks like she's waiting for something.
Her new wardrobe!!

not Gods discipline, but mans conformity to the world

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I could get behind the weird stray hair sticking out like a unicorn horn, though.

Dressing modestly means that they dress to blend in with everyone else.

Meaning that if everyone is in two piece bikinis so is the Christian woman.

If everyone is in blue jeans so is the Christian.

If everyone is topless so is the Christian.

You may want to recheck the definition of modest.

It does not mean to "dress like everyone else." It means to dress in a way that is not revealing. It has to do with not exposing parts of the body that should not be exposed.

Whoa.
What happened to Romans 12:2?
1 Timothy 2:9

What happened to The Body Is The Temple of God?
1 Corinthians 6:18-20

Nothing more to add.

Uh... not!

When I married the Deacon's blonde haired, long legged and beautiful daughter, all that is Bill Taylor belonged to her from the moment I said, "I do." When she answered I do all of her was me just as much as I sam her! WE have become one and it is no one else's right to see her nor women to see me, we belong.

My wife is well blessed by our God and the silly girl thinks I'm cute, go figure, and that is all that matters. At seventy-one and her at seventy-two, when that long legged, streamlined, awsome creation walks away r tiward me down the hall it is a vision wothy of beholding but it isw mine. Do I want her dressed like a rag doll? I am not stupid and she pleases my eye, always and I keep her in money to please herself and that pleases myself... selfish old codger! Nope, she was sexy the first day I saw her and she still is, I like it like that... that was a song in the sixties.

Really?

Got a number definition for that?

Context shows it as not standing out by being " over dressed" nor "under dressed".

So is there a measurement you can go by for what is acceptable and what isn't?

I've been around Christians from around the world. Their concept of "modesty" is exactly what I have stated because the words used have an exact equal in their native language Bible which they read. English doesn't such an equivalent... The best we got is modestly.

How hard is it for women to not dress like a slut nor like The Fashion Queen of every gathering by wearing the most expensive jewelry and clothes possible?

It's not an admonition to cover every square inch of flesh like the Muslims do.

Dressing normally for the area isn't difficult nor standard. Hem lines have shifted all over the place for men and women. I have yo-yos that move slower than fashion.
And depending upon the area is what is going to dictate what is modest verses what isn't.

European modesty is different from Canadian Modesty which is different from Brazilian Modesty which is different from African Modesty which is different from Slovakia....ad infinitum.

It's all relative to where you live.

this is better general appearance I prefer although she is too young for me but then we are talking clothes not age.

It seems you misread my post.

I would tell you that could ruin my sex life but I love mine so much nothing can do that.
Bill Taylor
Those verses I posted are not meant to do what you mention above.
They are meant EXACTLY to preserve your idea in the first paragraph of your post no. 12.

What is precious, is to be treasured. What is treasured should not be shared with everyone...
