Hey Everyone,
I feel like I need to share an event of my life with you all.
As my 3000th post said, I made a big move, and came down from New Jersey to come to college in Georgia. I'm going to let you all in on a little secret.
I knew this is where God wanted me to be. The day I came to Visit this school, God spoke to me clearly and said I belonged here. The thing was, even after the start of my second semester, I still really felt like the odd ball. We all know Jersey is the Armpit of America, and Georgia's the heart of the Bible Belt.
Lately, God has shown me that one of the reason I haven't felt His calm is because I haven't been willing to lean on him enough. While we all know that the Christian's life can be tough at times, we don't often realize how few real trails we face. My move was a struggle, but it didn't need to be half as tough as it's been, if I had Started to Really trust God.
You see, I trusted God and knew he brought me here, but I never even thought to ask God to provide all that I would need to make this change. I did trust His strength. The fact is, all we need is the willingness to rest on Him alone. He really can be all we need Him to be, but if we don't trust in this, we only make our lives that much more difficult.
Blessings
