unequally yoked...

We are commanded to not be unequally yolked. Thats my main thought.

To do it really doesn't make any sense. If a Christian's mate doesn't share the same love for Christ than how will that ever work. Christians are supposed to place their first priority on God, but if unequally yolked then they won't understand. It generally turns out bad. Different priorities.
I have had struggles with this, I have met amazing women who were not Christians. Trust me, I was evangelizing quite a bit hoping(Joking). :-D But when I thought about it, I love God above anyone here on earth and I expect the same out of my future wife.
It is also a matter of faith that you trust God to provide you with a suitable mate. Probably much better than you could pick on your own. :D
