[__ Prayer __] Update

Visited the doctor today for results of ultrasound. Slight change in thyroid, will be going for an Xray.
I am trying not to have too much anxiety. Please continue to pray for me.

My friend has a brain tumor and today I said that I can still be thankful since her condition is worse than mine. These things make us aware that when we think things are so trying for us there are those who are enduring worse things that us. Thanks for your continuing prayers. God is able. It is good to know that there are people here whom I have not met or that I may never meet are praying.

Still praying for you Sister abide. God is able and willing to do more than we ask, and the outcome for our lives is always for our good. Is that a no-lose situation? We are blessed as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in or out of the fire, our LORD remains with us and His blessings unfathomable at such times.

Each and every time I've wanted to wallow in a spectacular self-pity-party, I'm reminded that there are others who are having a much worse time of it than me. Rather a sobering thought, that someone is worse off. The self-pity party becomes a prayer session, and my usual attitude/perspective returns.
