Were They Right ?

Yes, they were right to kill the gorilla. It would have been irresponsible to take chances with that little boy's life.

Mike did you know that there are thousands of people who are mad as heck because they killed him.

You have to start from the start. The gorilla was killed under not guilty charges as it was taken captive and thrown in an enclosure against its will for human entertainment and profit.

What else could they have done at that point but to take the gorilla down? It was unfortunate that the gorilla had to die, but a kid is a kid.

Now the police are investigating the parents to see if there's a way that they can charge them with anything so they can make some money off of it.

It's easy to sit in an easy chair and denigrate the parents, as if they weren't watching the boy, but anyone who has ever raised kids can attest to... the little buggers are fast and mischevious. This still could have happened even with supervision.
Like I said, just an unfortunate incident.
The only ones really looking bad over this, are those who cry for the gorilla, as if it was more valuable than the child.

Well if they didn't lock animals in cages for entertainment and profit this never would have happened. I rest my case.

I dont like the idea of zoos ... we should not leave a child in risk of dying because adults are wrong.

So if an animal us rescued from injury and can't be realesed into the wild? Euthanize it anyway?

Why not use them to educate? What about endangered species?
