The concept of where we go when we die holds great concern in Christian denominations. Some believe in reincarnation, purgatory and other dogmas, while others believe in immediate judgment after death. This is evident in Hebrews 9:27, which states, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” One thing we should know is that there is always a reward for every action we take here on earth and the reward will be given at the end of our journey here on earth.

Wherever we go after death is our eternal inheritance for our work here on earth. Inheritance in the Bible is not limited to heaven and material blessings but also includes the inheritance of hell and the earth. The Bible provides insight into these inheritances, shedding light on their significance for humanity. Matthew 25:34–46 shows the deeds of love that will give one an inheritance in heaven and the acts of hardened hearts that will push them into a life of regret and pain for all eternity.

People ask questions like, what happens to us when we die?. Is heaven real? Is hell real? What is purgatory? Who will inherit the....continue

The body return to dust because it was created from dust. But the soul lives forever. Our purpose in this life on earth in the limited amount of time that we have is to move away from sin and to move towards God. That is done by repentance. By constant repentance. Repentance is the way we cleanse ourselves from sin. Repentance is a U-turn we make in our life and decide to move away from sin/evil and to move towards God.

Even in this life on earth we can experience heaven and hell based on how many (unrepented) sins and virtues we have committed. The wage of sin is spiritual death, death of the soul. The people who have committed many grave sins and have not repented are already experiencing hell on earth inside their soul. They can't see the light out the darkness that has encompassed their souls. Sin is like dirt that sticks to our beautiful souls. Repentance is like pure clear water that cleanses us from that dirt.

We can only repent while we are alive in body on earth. We must use the time we have on earth wisely to repent from our sins and to do good deeds. When we start doing that we start to move towards God and towards His light and love. We start feeling His light and love more and more in our lives. And that my dear friend is called experiencing heaven on earth.

No maam, it was satan who said you will not die, God said otherwise. Although the Bible does not speak much about the condition of the dead, it does say this:
(Psalm 146:3, 4) 3 Do not put your trust in princes Nor in a son of man, who cannot bring salvation. 4 His spirit goes out, he returns to the ground; On that very day his thoughts perish.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-10) 5 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they no longer have any share in what is done under the sun. . . .10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do with all your might, for there is no work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the Grave, where you are going.

If we do not have life in us now, we are dead already.

Where are we now ?

Not in the presence of God, or in Him.

2 Thessalonians 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Luke chapter 16, thiers two sides of the Gulf. Saints in paradise and wicked, heathen, and spirtualty dead in sheol, called hell. Jesus gave a Analogy of Richman and Lazarus. Corinthians chapter 2, you need holy spirit to guide you on right path into kingdom of God. Some people have spirit of stupor.

If we have Christ in us, that is life, but if He us not in us, we have no life in us. ( drinking worthily or we sleep/die)

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

1 Corinthians 11:29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

2 Corinthians 5:6-8 is used by many to say when we die we immediately go to be with the Lord in heaven, but these verses do not mean that at all. If you go back to verse one and two in chapter 5 the tabernacle being spoken of is our fleshly body and when we are in the flesh we are separated from God because flesh and Spirit can not mix, Romans 8:6, 7. Sin separates us from God because God is a spirit and can only recognize his own children by what spirit is living in their hearts. We have to renew, rebirth – born again Gods Spirit within us in order to be called a child of God and see the kingdom of heaven, John 3:3-7. We now put off the old man (flesh) and put on the new man (Spirit), Colossians 3:1-17. We are renewed by the word of God and through the Holy Spirit teaching us of all things, John 14:26.

John 3:6 that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. When we are in the flesh or at home in the body this is our natural carnal being. When we are in the Spirit allowing Gods Spirit to take over the flesh then we are in the presence of the Lord through the Holy Spirit that dwells in us.

God breathed life (spirit) into us, Genesis 2:7, that made us a living soul and what goes back to God when this physical body dies (returns to the dust of the ground) is that very spirit of life God gave us, Ecclesiastics 12:7. Only those of faith under the old covenant (OT) and those of faith under the new covenant through Christ Jesus (NT) will God take that spirit back and reserve it until Christ returns. At that time we are raised with a new glorified body, 1Corintians 15:51-58; 1Thessalonians 4:13-18, and then we are given back that spirit of life to have everlasting life with the Father.

According to John 3:13 no one has ever ascended into heaven other than Christ. Scripture says we sleep in the ground until the coming of the Lord. Those whose names are written in the Lambs Book of Life will be raised to everlasting life with God and those who names are not found will face Gods Great White Throne Judgment and will be cast into the lake of fire, John 5:28, 29; Revelations 20:11-15.

Easiest for me is to determine what is true and what is false. True ... Heaven and Hell are both real, physical places and everyone spends eternity in one or the other. False ... Reincarnation, Purgatory, temporary punishments, annihilation.

After death, our physical bodies go into the grave, there awaiting our new bodies either at the rapture (for believers) or at the Lord's return (for unbelievers). For believers our souls (now with our new bodies) go into the presence of the Lord where we stay in His presence forever. For unbelievers, their souls go to hades for continuing torment (Rich man/Lazarus in Luke). At the Lords return, specifically, the Great White Throne (of) Judgment, the souls of unbelievers are joined with their eternal bodies and they are physically tossed into the Lake of Fire with Satan/demons forever.

Key points which some will deny are non-existence of Purgatory. It is a fabrication of the Roman church. It doesn't exist, never has. Sorry, there is no second chance. At death, ones eternal destiny is decided. So, all of the rituals and prayers/offerings for departed souls is useless. Also no reincarnation. Again, you have this life only to decide your destiny. Heaven and Hell are both eternal. No annihilation, those in Hell will be tormented forever. Are there degrees of suffering? Apparently, yes, although I don't pretend to understand that. Jesus said that in condemning the cities of Tyre and Sidon in Matthew.

So, again, this life only for salvation. No second chances. None. Zero. Heaven and Hell are both real, physical and eternal. Finally, Jesus is the only, only way for salvation. No dogma, creeds, saints, popes, practices, etc. Jesus only. Faith only. Bible only.

Hi I would ask.?

What would be the point or purpose of dying twice?

The appointment is once.

The one wage is eternal damnation.

I think of Moses used to demonstrate the Power of God striking the Rock twice forbidding Moses from entering the promised land . . signifying the new heavens and earth. It as a shadow pointed to the cross. . crucified once .Not over and over to public shame that God's forgiveness as labor of love had no power to forgive ,

I would offer one three day and night demonstration was all that was promised to display his mercy seasoned with grace to the whole world .

The second death must be the instrument of death. It will be tossed in the fiery judgement.
