It's the official opening day for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". I'm stoked and bought our block of tickets 45 days ago when they went on pre-sale for tonight at 7:00. The first film came out when I was just 10, and it was like a rite of passage for me. Since then, it's had a special place for me.

Assuming you WILL see this film, when will you see it?

Australia got it 48 hours ago. Went to a midnight screening.

It's amazing.
That's what I like to hear! No spoilers!
How do you spell "hooked" by Hollywood?
h, o, o, k, e, d, b, y, H, o, l, l, y, w, o, o, d :shrug

Really, this is the only series that I feel a sense of urgency to get out and see. Something special about the Star Wars saga, and I don't want to see spoilers.
Probably won't get to see it in theaters.

Just wow... At the theater the local news was broadcasting from last night, 14 of 18 screens were showing Star Wars. This is film history in the making!

I'd love to go see it today with a bunch of like minded friends but. alas, I have no like minded friends. The sad reality of my life is that I will probably see it in 10 years when they put it on Netflix for free and claim it is a "new release". :erm :shame

I never been into that type of stuff and to be honest I have never even seen a star wars but I know how popular and famous it is.

Is star wars the movie with the gold tin man and the robot?

This is how out of touch and absorbed in my own world I am. It is infathemable to think that there are people in the world who have to ask this question. I've loved the overarching theme of this franchise for 40 years.

Eora oh my gosh, THAT WAS TERRIFIC!!

Jj.abrams, nothing like episode iv,v,vi.this is dark like all his movies yet retains the star wars in it.one who dies is well crappy
