Who Justifieth the Ungodly

We are Justified, made right with God, if and when Christ has taken away our sins, Jn 1:29

29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

1 Jn 3:5

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

Heb 10:11-12

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

The implication here is this man did what other priest could not do, take away sins !

But the Man/Priest Christ did this, not our believing it, so we are Justified and had our sins taken away before we believed ! 16

Justified from our sins before we believe !

Those of us who came to Faith in Christ, we were Justified from our sins before Gid before we came to believe, because before we believe God saith Isa 44:21-22

21 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.

22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

Lets notice the basis for Gods Call to His People for their return to Him or repentance, it was based upon , foundationed upon what He has already done, which was He hath blotted out their Transgressions, He had Redeemed them, which comes only by and through the Cross of Christ Col 2:13-14

13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

You see that phrase "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way"

It means their sins and transgressions against Gods Law, and its the same as in Isa 44:22, He taketh them away by nailing them to Christ's Cross, Note: The OT Saints looked forward to the Blood of Christ that taketh away their sins] their sins as well as NT Saints were imputed to Christ, and so returning to God by Faith and Repentance is premised on what has been done [the forgiveness of sins and redemption by Christ] even before we believed, even before we existed ; You see Christ did not die for our sins when we believed, but way before we believed, and in the Eternal Counsels of God, before the world began Rev 13
:8; 1 Pet 1:20 ! 16

Justification solely by the death of Christ !

That those Christ died for are Justified solely upon Christ's Act alone, apart from any of their own, is taught in Rom 5:18b

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Notice the antithesis of Rom 5:18a which is stated thusly:

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation;

This plainly tells us, that Judgment to condemnation landed upon all men solely by the offence of One, that one being Adam.

The words came upon means resulted in , the sole act of Adam, resulted in all men [in him] Judgment to condemnation, they did nothing personally in themselves for the condemnation, in fact they had not even personal existed !

So, the same is even so in the antithesis, by the Righteousness of One, Meaning His[Christs] Active and Passive Obedience, as a Free Gift, Justification of Life came upon all men [in Him] and again the words came upon means resulted in, the sole Act of Christ resulted in all men [In Him] Justification of Life, they did personally nothing of themselves for this Free Gift, in fact they had not even personally existed.

Notice its called a Free Gift !! That's because it " Justification of Life" was freely charged to their account in Heaven, freely imputed to their account in the record law books of Gods Law and Justice.

Its not a free gift in the corrupt sense that the false teachers make it, that its offered to you as a gift and now its up to you to receive it, that is a lie, for it was no more an offering for one to accept or reject as it was a offer you could accept or reject when , because of Adams One Act, it resulted in Judgment unto condemnation !

So Rom 5:18 b validates that those Christ lived and died for, it resulted in their Justification apart from any thing they did, even apart from their believing ! 17

And by him all that believe are justified from all things

Acts 13:38-39

38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

What does this mean ? "all that believe are justified from all things" ? Now I already know that false teachers oft times use this scripture to refer to believing being a condition one must do in order to get Justified before God, but that is a false teaching. What this scripture does say and mean is that those who believe have been Justified from all things, in other words their believing is the evidence that they have already been Justified by the blood of Christ, they already have the forgiveness of sins Vs 38.

Now the Justification of them and their forgiveness of sins preceded their believing, as it is written, that the Just/Justified shall live by Faith Rom 1:17

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

This is a Promise, a certainty that the Just SHALL live by Faith ! Now who all is Just or who are the Just ? Why its everyone Christ died for, everyone of the many by whom His One Obedience made them Righteous Rom 5:19b

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

The obedience here is the death of Christ as in His Obedience unto death of the Cross Phil 2:8 and by it many shall be made righteous, which is the greek word dikaios for Just in Rom 1:17, so hence, all whom by the Obedience of one were made just or righteous, the promise is that they shall live by Faith or believe !

The shall live by Faith is in the future tense, which means all whom Christ died for shall sometime in the future believe or live by Faith.

So it is with these being preached to in Acts 13:39 them who were believing gave evidence that they had by the obedience of Christ been made Just or righteous, which obedience was in the past, and so their Justification preceded their believing and was why they believed ! 17

Remission/Forgiveness of sins = Justification !

None in false religion today believe that those Christ died for, by His redeeming death alone, that they are all Justified before God, yes even before they believe, and even while they are unbelieving enemies by nature ! This is True because by His death alone for them, they have received in the Court of Heaven before the Throne of God, Remission/Forgiveness of sins, which is also a branch Justification ! Listen to the words of Christ here Matt 26:28

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

The word for here eis means that the shedding of His Blood for that particular many resulted in the remission of their sins, which also means Justification !

There is Salvation resulted in also in the remission of sins, Lk 1:77

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

Yes all their sins, past, present and future have been forgiven because of the shedding of the blood, which also means they are Justified before God, even when they have not been yet Justified before their own consciousness and while they are in unbelief and ignorance !

Jesus Christ was raised from the dead because of our Justification Rom 4:25

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for[because of] our justification.

That word Justification, the greek word dikaiōsis means:

I.the act of God declaring men free from guilt and acceptable to him

See thats what Remission of sins means, God declaring men and women free from guilt based upon the blood shed of Christ alone !

The word remission in Matt 26:28 is the greek word aphesis which means:

II. forgiveness or pardon, of sins (letting them go as if they had never been committed), remission of the penalty

And again that equates to Justification:

the act of God declaring men free from guilt

This is not based upon anyone's faith, or repentance or even believing the Gospel, those things have nothing to do with it, but based solely upon the Blood shed of Jesus Christ!

Gods Elect are Justified by Him !

Rom 8:33

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

Understand something, the very mere fact that one is Gods Elect, apart from any other consideration, it means that one is Justified from all condemnation, any charges, none can be laid to their charge, God wont do it ! 17

Justified by His Death/Stripes !

If Christ has died for ones sins, by that fact alone they are Justified, made Right with God or Made Righteous before Him. For Christ has paid the price of their Redemption by His Blood, which Blood forever pleads their discharge from all iniquity and the consequences thereof Titus 2:14

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The Phrase "that he might" is stating what the Divine Purpose is for Christ dying, which results in them he died for being redeemed from ALL Iniquity, If that did not happen based solely upon His giving Himself for them, the Divine Purpose failed !

By His Knowledge [of His Own Sheep] shall He Justifiy many ! How and Why ? Because He shall bear their Iniquities Isa 53:11

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

This plainly states that His bearing their Iniquity resulted in Him Justifying the Many !

Titus 2:14

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Being redeemed from all iniquity is Justification !

They were Justified by His stripes 1 Pet 2:24 and not by their Faith, or not by their repentance, not even by believing the Gospel, in fact it was a fact [their Justification before God] even while they were enemies Rom 5:10 ! 18

Made Just before Faith !

Despite what false teachers tell us, believing Faith is the Gift of God to His Elect, hence its the Faith of Gods Elect Titus 1:1

Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

Its a Gift of the Spirit of Christ, or the Spirit of Grace Zech 12:10

10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Gal 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

That's why believers have believed through Grace Acts 18:27

27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

That word through is the greek word διὰ and means:

through, on account of, by reason of, for the sake of, because of.

Them that believed because of Grace ! Not because of their freewill as liars would tell us.

And this Faith by the Spirit of Grace is given graciously unto all whom Christ by His Obedience unto Death, by which they are made Righteous/Just Rom 5:19, and so it is promised that the Just shall live by Faith, hence being made Just/Righteous is antecedent to Living by Faith ! 18

What about Justification by Faith ?

Understand something, Justification by Faith is part of Salvation, but it occurs when the already Justified ones by the blood of Christ Rom 5:9 are made conscious of it, so that they apprehend it by God given Faith, that Christ alone by His Perfect Obedience Justified them, for it is written Isa 53:11

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

The righteous servant here is Christ, and by Him bearing the sins of many, He Justified them, and this Justification accomplished by His bearing their sins is revealed to born again faith so that they which are born again by the Spirit may apprehend it, hence then they become Justified by Faith.

But now, if we believe or teach that ones Justification before God depends upon ones apprehending it by Faith, we then fall from Justification by Grace/or the Blood of Christ, to Justification by works, by something we did. The scripture teaches that all that believe are Justified Acts 13:39, which means of course, the believing is the fruit and result and follows after having already been Justified by the blood of Christ, and so God given Faith apprehends what Christ alone has done for them by bearing their sins!

Justification by the blood/obedience of Christ.

Rom 5:8-9

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Those whom Christ died for were Justified by His Blood !

This is a truth that the natural mind of man cannot receive, its foolishness to him 1 Cor 2:14

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

By Christ's death alone/shedding of His blood, those He died for, have before God, been made righteous, declared not guilty, or justified, thats what His Resurrection declares to be true Rom 4:25

25 Who was delivered for [because of]our offences, and was raised again for [because of]our justification.

This justification did not occur because of ones believing, receiving, or faith, no its apart from those things, and based solely upon the blood of Christ !

Rom 5:19 states it quite plainly, that by the sole obedience of ONE, not two or three, but ONE, that One being Jesus Christ, many SHALL BE MADE RIGHTEOUS !

This is the antithesis to the truth that by the disobedience of one, that being adam, many were made sinners Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners,
shall many be made righteous.

Those men in adam in the beginning were made sinners solely by adams act of disobedience even before they had any physical existence or being.

And so it is likewise those men in Christ [chosen in Him before the foundation Eph 1:4] by His sole act of obedience, shall be made righteous, before they have a being or any physical existence ! 18

Justification by the blood/obedience of Christ.2

Its the same principle as when its written that God Loved Jacob and hated esau before they had any being or existence to do good or evil acts Rom 9:11

11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth)

Paul emphasis here is on the fact that the children had not yet been born into physical existence, hence God is considering them without a being yet, for one cannot act in time good or evil if they dont exist in time !

So you see, those whom Christ died, while they are yet unborn, His One act of Obedience, shedding His blood, shall make them Righteous. So how could ones act of faith or believing before they existed have anything to do with making them righteous ? Thats why Paul says its by the Obedience of One ! This Truth the natural man cannot receive !

Justified solely by His Death!

This is a Gospel truth that false religionists can not receive. That those Christ died for, namely the Elect of God, that before they are born sinners and unbelievers and enemies, that solely on the merits of Christ blood shed for them, they are Justified before God, declared Righteous. They have received the sentence of absolution and forgiveness, and God will not charge their sins against them 2 Cor 5:19.

That is because God in Justice has already charged or transacted all their sins and iniquities upon their Surety Jesus Christ, Isa 53:6; 2Cor 5:21;1Pet 3:24.

This being so, God purposed not to charge their sins on them, hence Justifying them from all their sins. This transacted before they are born sinners and enemies. 18
