Hi Folks. I have found a new refreshing study of the first 5 Books of the Old Testament, called the Hebrew Torah. As some of you know, I'm a fan of Hebrew scholar Alan Horvath. Some folk have dismissed Alan's teachings and kind of po po'd his findings. One comment was "Who is this guy?" His video's on YouTube cover just about any question about Scripture there is.

If you don't like Alan, then here is his Teacher on many of Alan's subjects. His name is Brad Scott. A Hebrew of Hebrew's, a brilliant Scholar of God's initial purpose of His Word thru Christ Jesus, but a very interesting spokesman for the God that speaks the secrets of the Torah as it has to do with the end times.

He looks interesting. I bookmarked him and would like to go thru his series as I get time. And yes I will get time -- at the very least I rest (and study devotionals) on the Sabbath. I don't run around like a chicken with my head cut off like many do. LOL Thanks for the link.

You won't be disappointed I promise.
 
He is kinda slow at explaining himself.
I don't care about Strong's concordance being misused as a dictionary.
I know people have lived their whole life in cities.
He keeps saying something but doesn't have the proofs or mechanisms by which he came to those conclusions. (At least at 40 minutes into two videos at this point)
And where I'd like to believe and trust what he is saying...I want to view the mechanisms by which he came to the conclusion that he has.

He might actually say something at some point and show some method he has used to say what he is saying...but I haven't seen it yet.

I listened to the whole video and I am going to continue on in his series. So you are a bit farther, but from what I gather so far, he's trying to introduce the Hebraic way of thinking, and indeed that's an extension of the way God made things (concrete) to show truth. I noticed that too. Too much Gentile abstract thinking as opposed to concrete nature (which God Created) is indeed his word and demonstrates it. The Hebrew letter bet is actually shaped like a house thus the letter is in the word as well. The whole language is coded and based on reality. For example, ab means father, ben means son. If you put the two together, you have ab-ben (eben) or stone. There's a reason the language relates the stone (something solid) to that union (c.f. John 1). The symbolism, the gemetria, and indeed the very substance of the language reflects reality, thus the reason I started studying Hebrew. I get a bit annoyed when fellow Christians take these concepts and claim they are being invented like its some sort of esoteric, unsubstantiated fad theory. What he's saying has been known by Jews for a long time. The Gentiles Christians separated themselves from Jews so much by doing things like changing the Sabbath day or eating improper meats and so forth and otherwise adopted a totally alien idea of the bible that when a fellow like this comes along he sounds strange. However, for many of us who want to get back to traditional Christianity we tend to follow the Judaic roots. To put it another way, a traditional church service now sounds as strange to me as another religion or some cult. It does not even seem like something out of the bible any longer.

I haven't disagreed with anything that he has said yet...the problem is that he hasn't said much yet except for what people do wrong.

I know that people do wrong...I've known this from the beginning of my life.
What I wish to know is what God has done.

How is the end in the beginning?
How exactly is this shown. I've done extensive, extensive, extensive studies...verse by verse... chapter by chapter...and word by word studies of Besherith
 
Hebrew is the abstract ,not the Greek .

Do you have information on either of these men that supports them being Hebrew scholars?

Teachings are not evidence that someone is a scholar. I’ve looked at Alan Horvath and can find no evidence he is a scholar of any sort. This is why I am asking you, since you seem to know the most about them and referred to them as scholars. So, do you have any information that supports the claim that these men are Hebrew scholars?
 
First, I believe that the word of mouth presents what is in the heart of another person. Here is a little background of Brad Scott.
