Why is there no mention of Mary by name in any of Paul's writings?
Dr. Robert Morey in his book, "The Trinity - Evidence and Issues" offers this explanation.

Mary had a significant role to play in the history of redemption as the woman blessed of God to bare the Messiah. Thus, she is mentioned in the Gospels and the Acts which are historical narratives.
In contrast, the Church Epistles are didactic in nature and explain the plan of salvation. Since Mary had no role in the work of redemption and Paul's focus is to explain salvation, there is no reason to bring her up.
