those are fighting wordsWhen our first child was born my wife gave up work and did not work for 15 years whilst looking after our 4 children.
Yep and I lost the fight.those are fighting words
Only due to the fact that she pulled my chest hair, boy did that hurt. Funnily enough I couldn't reciprocateYep and I lost the fight.
I earn money. My wife takes it all and slices up my paycheck into various places/accounts. My paycheck is gone as I earn it.
We live mostly off of my wife's paycheck. Mine mostly goes into giving and saving. We use mine mostly for gas and groceries. This came about because of my irregular income...not that I don't or didn't earn a good living...just that it is irregular. Feast of famine.
The past several years it has been feast after feast after feast. I'm usually regularly turning down work. But our habits of saving at least half haven't stopped. We never know when the famine is coming. We figure that it will come...we just don't know when.
I think that one day I should find out exactly where all the money does go...as I really have no idea. If something should ever happen to her I'd be lost. All I really know is that any time I want or need anything we have money for it.
I'm a saver...so is my wife. We save, give, and live like few do.
Trump will fix thatWhy do women have money? They're not supposed to have money, or the right to vote, or even learn how to read and write. What's wrong with barefoot and in the kitchen, making sammiches?

Now if we could teach this generation the JOY we share because we know this truth from the Holy Spirit. My wife is the level head of our union and yesterday she was arranging our fixed income to pay a commitment we have made to fund the New Building Fund to the Church. You women give it to us husbands, after all what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine. Only joking.
When we got married we had a joint account which both of our salaries was paid into. At the time my wife had a single account but with nothing in it, I myself did not have a single account. The joint account just about covered our bills.
When our first child was born my wife gave up work and did not work for 15 years whilst looking after our 4 children.
During this period she never asked or sought after anything for herself. We couldn't afford it if she did. However I would put pennies aside and would give it to her to treat herself (please not I'm saying that to look good but I knew how hard it was looking after 4 kids, I tried it a few times and I can certainly see why God made women mothers)
She started working again 3 years ago but not in her profession as a teacher but for the church heading up young childrens work. She doesn't get paid much. We talked about what to do with her salary. We discussed it and that is very important, a husband and wife should never keep their finances from each other, it's deceitful and can cause mistrust. So we agreed that her salary was paid into her single account and that was her money to spend on herself.
We are now in a position where we can do that.
When a man and woman marry they become one person. Everything I am and have is my wife's and vice versa.
That includes money. My money is my wife's and her money is mine. Our bank statements are free to look at, we have made ourselves accountable to each other when it comes to our finances.
Bravo echo echo Romeo.Bravo epsilon echo Reno.
It is equal here also, Spend it on taking care of my husband and our household.:winkSo what do women do with their money (particularly married women); just keep it? The spouse needs not know about it?
And men, to balance the issue, and you?
