Wondering if I should watch it, only because people won't be talking about anything else tomorrow. And because two German teams facing off in a Champions' League final is kinda historic event.
But I don't really care for either team.

End of Game
That was a game? I have an acquaintance who is the fitness coach of a professional soccer team, and I'm wondering due to the scores by the Borussia Dortmund 1:2 Bayern Munchen German teams if all members of the teams are paid to do nothing? Do you think he'd know? Even some of our USA baseball teams produce more than 3 total points; it seems pitiful. What do all the fans do as they observe little but defense? :pray

I did actually watch it and it was quite intense. Both teams played equally well (except for the first 20 minutes when Munich seemed to be not really warmed up yet and so Dortmund was dominating them, but other than that it was quite entertaining).
The excitement about soccer is not the number of goals. Of course a game with lots of goals is more exciting than a 0:0. But the exciting thing is waiting for the goals to happen. Every attack can theoretically end in a goal, and watching attack and defense is what makes watching soccer so fun. Playing soccer yourself is very fun, too.
Of course watching a promising attack of your team build up and then end in a missed shot can be frustrating, but the frustration adds to the joy when your team scores.
The number of goals in a soccer match being relatively low compared to other sports makes every single soccer goal more intense and emotional.
A soccer match ending in something like 10:0 would be onesided and boring, and a high level soccer match ending in something like 8:6 would be weird (unless the game ends in a penalty shoot-out) and it would imply both's teams' defense was asleep. Both defenses being poor would be real bad soccer and no fun to watch.

Or maybe the strikers are so Messiful and Ronaldoic and Neymaic and VPic

Thanks dear sister, I was just attempting to have fun at the expense of a game I little care for or understand. I have heard and seen that there is much crowd action after the games that make up for the lack of play on the field; that'll teach them dirty guys not to win in our home town huh? :screwloose
