We all talk about the anti-christ.
No one ever talks about the False Prophet.

Who is the False Prophet?
How does he differ from the beast out of the sea (anti-christ?).
Is he alive today?
How will we recognize him?

Will he be American?
Will he be from California?

Dan 8:9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn (Not the little horn of Dan 7:8), which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
Dan 8:11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away (Dan 12:11), and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. Soon after the beast makes a covenant with many possibly to reestablish the sacrifice taken away for one week the False Prophet took fro them only to break it in the middle of the week (Dan 9:27).
Dan 8:12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
Dan 8:13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
Dan 8:14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
Dan 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Surely he cannot be antichrist too, can he? Let's ask reba.)

We know from the scriptures full well what a "false prophet" is:

1 Kings 22:22
And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

I'd dare say lying spirits are quite rampant in the churches. And in the world? Please. Just watch any given politician.

A false prophet is a LYING SPIRIT.

Jeremiah 5:31
The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

One of the indicators of false prophets is telling people smooth words. Things they want to hear. A real prophet will hit the nail on the head and it will never be with smooth words.

Isaiah 30:10
Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
