Uh, was Revelation written while Jesus was on the Earth? I thought it was at least 30 some years after the cross.the image is from revelation, which is in err because the church that are named as the seven stars weren't even around then when jesus was on the earth.
Nope.Uh, was Revelation written while Jesus was on the Earth?
Sounds like he is Italian to me not JewishI think Jesus looked a little bit like Al Pacino.
Wuzz wrong with dat? The non-egocentric deity form is the Holy Spirit.People want to put a face to Jesus.I guess faith is not good enough.

There's proscription against iconography, but just wonderng what He looked like? The bible tells us not to.

I think Al Pacino is as good as any.
Now now Gary, look at that picture in your avatar.Unless a physical description can be found, no one will ever know. There's nothing wrong with wondering about His physical appearance, but we cross the line when we transfer those thoughts into what we deem art. The bible specifically says don't do it. Art or not, it's a false image and that makes it an idol........and wrong.
Need to put and place in Jesus regardless of what He looks like! But place our hearts and lives in Him. Meaning our faith and trust in Him!
How about the Shroud of Turin? It's a photocopy.Unless a physical description can be found, no one will ever know.
