[_ Old Earth _] How old is the Earth???

Many people believe that the Earth is millions of years old. Scientists have been telling us about dinosaurs millions of years ago. How many here really beileve that the world is millions of years old? According to the Bible, the Earth is only about only 6000 years old, where in Genesis 1 God created the Earth Moons and stars. Evolutionists try to get you to believe that the Earth is millions of years old to sell you on evolution. In the book of Job there were Behemoths that roamed the Earth. And of course there were different sizes of Behemoths just like there are different sizes of dogs, cats etc etc. So what Im saying is that God created these "Dinosaurs" when he created all of the other animals. There were never meat eating dinosaurs such as Tyranasaurus Rex, etc. Behemoths were grass, veggie eating big animals. Sorry not a point to this but I just wanted to state my opinion on this matter. God Bless

The Bible gives no indication whatsoever as to the age of the Earth or the universe.
 
Do you believe that there were fossils on the Earth before Adam and Eve?
 
Do you believe there were dinosaurs that roamed this Earth before the creation of Adam and Eve and died?
 
How can you date something without a starting point?.

Things can change rapidly in progress. incress, slow Down.

250 million year old dinousaurs is beyond me.
 
Here's day 6..

After that you get this in chapter three "Yea, hath God said"

There simply is no reason to think of this as a dinosaur. I would find it quite odd that only one book in the Bible mentions a dinosaur if they were contemporaneous with humans. It is quite likely another large animal--elephant or hippo--with some hyperbole, or it's a mythical creature like Leviathan.

They were all/both created on the same day..

^^^ That post can be deleted, I see a "local mod" tended to the issue while I was ranting. ^^^

The earth may be 'young' or old, it is very hard to say. The Bible leaves us in the dark here. Only by inferring much and twisting scripture to fit what you believe to be true can you get it to tell you ANYTHING about the age of the earth.

The scientific evidence weighs heavily on a very old earth, and a very old universe (that is, creation). As I repeatedly said, the "Big Bang Theory" lines up with early Genesis very well. So well that a great scientist (I THINK it was - no, I don't know, not gonna say) saw this correlation early on and dismissed the BBT as "nonsense, because it sounds like the Bible story to me." (Ok, Fine. I think it was Dawkins who said that.)

But if you read about the BBT and then read early Genesis, it does sound like the two narratives are describing the same event(s), only in different terms.

I'd like to mention that the more education one has, the more understanding of physics and math you get, the more you see a very old earth. There are untold numbers of physicists, scientists, engineers, doctors and mathematicians who firmly attest to a very old earth, and to a loving God and Savior.
