There is a scriptural principle that operates, actively, in the world. Constantly. It will not stop.
That scriptural principle is that the law empowers, even strengthens sin in man. (1 Cor. 15:56) If any person chooses to uphold the law, they will experience the resistance of sinning lawlessness from that upholding. This is what the law is showing us, openly, every day. And, often not only with those who resist the law as with the police, but with the police also, sometimes, in the other direction.
This is real continuing and DIRE friction. Everyone believer should take the lesson. We should not expect lawfulness to transpire. We should expect the exact opposite, which is what we are experiencing.
We should not expect the lawless to be lawful. We should expect more lawlessness from more laws. And this is exactly what we are getting.
