Just my simple opinion of all this useless dribble :

Seems to me logical fallacies
are nothing more then the 'political correct ' crowd finding fancy words to tell some one else their reasoning is not correct.
The difference between
Joe lied to me once therefor Joe always lies.
or Joe lied to me once therefor i will never believe Joe again ..

is very slim...this is just PC control of how some one else thinks some one else should think..
What is logical to one person may not be to another..
Example the differences between a rancher and a city dweller. ... Our environment help us form our logic.
A person living in Alaska years back saw logic in building a shelter of ice...

I should post in Spanish, and you might get their point.

Logical fallacies are bad arguments for a position that they avoid the topic .I do use logical fallacies but I'm human.I will strive not to.

jasonc I see their points ...they just dont matter to me... My logic is not someone else's logic. IF someone sees a point as a logical fallacy that is fine.. if another does not that is fine..
I see this whole zillions of posts as a subtil way to get people to think alike . I hope that never happens... that is my logic ... to some i am sure it is a fallacy ..

I have never spoken a logical or illogical fallacy with intent to deceive .. i speak my simple mind. call things as i see them some time wrong sometimes right.. ... the other guys can do the same..

I tend to be over opionated.Therefore, I get corrected often in my course of disagreement it's either ignorance,emotional taken position or researched position. The later forces the other simply disagree.I have debated on ptsd and gun rights,forced a man to see my point of how they use anger fits deny you a gun,and I had to disagree with simply l as labeling all vets as potential mad men .

I didn't either. I learned here and other forums.I came here to get a good solid Conservative political position. Treat this as someone who has proper grammar and sees another who posts I like I do.If you haven't noticed I have posted more clearly and with better grammar.Is it not rude to correct grammar unless asked? You could debate here and save it for here and other times.I do.I pick my fights.I got hit by assumptions on my gun position in a discussion about martial law.I used my knowledge, history of the Revolutionary War.Me,anti gun,lol.

No,one can base your opions on facts.Everyone has a bias, acknowledge them and move on.I have mine.I will list them.All snowbirds are jerks or stingy,all Democrats are anti gun,all military are pro gun or conservative,American cars are junk .

The later is an opion based on my working on cars and not on actual scientific research. I bought this truck with that bias in mind.View attachment 9313

A good use and example of a logical fallacy often found in sinners. THE Bible? Why should I believe the Bible ? I went to St . Helens for years and I got hurt.Jesus isnt true.So based on that bad example they commit poisoning the well as they believe it's all a lie without reasearching it's history.

Did it ever occur to you that I changed eschatology because of debates here.Imagine if all Hitch ,Storm crow and you did was just insult me and had no backing up of your position .I might not have changed. TRUTH,IF you have to insult others to claim it it's not the truth. HITCH was right on alot of things granted he went over the line at times and was booted.If someone argued with me over the American cars versus Japanese cars and showed me articles.I still would buy Japanese cars.

I've put plenty of basic info in this thread for anyone to read if they were all that interested in dialog.

When you are asked to rewrite a paragraph so that By Grace can understand what he is asking, why don't you agree to do that on a public forum that is seeking better understanding of what you wrote?
