Here's your proof that you have never addressed, only refuse to answer a simple question.

Which words of these passages do you find to be false?
Is this trolling? I've already answered. No verses are false. Period. It's the way some people misunderstand them that is the problem.

5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, Romans 2:5-8
This verse teaches that only sinless perfection will earn eternal life. And then Paul went on to teach that all are sinners, and no one will be justified on the basis of observing the Law, which is "doing good". Rom 3:20

In the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who “will render to each one according to his deeds”:
  • eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;

I don't see the phrase "sinless perfection" in this passage of scripture.

Could you read it again, and point out why you made such a claim, that only "sinless perfection" will earn eternal life?

Why is Jesus' promise to recipients not being seen?
It is seen. It is seen clearly. The promise is to those in Him, and only those in Him.

What I've asked for is evidence from Scripture that God gives eternal life "continuously". I haven't seen any yet.
Jde 1:20-21
But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.

Are you waiting for His mercy, or are you relying on your own righteousness?

The gift of eternal life is given WHEN one believes, according to Jesus in John 5:24 - “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

So, that's WHEN Jesus gives eternal life; when one believes. So eternal security is PROMISED at the moment one believes.
Eternal life is given to us, His name is Jesus.

1Jo 5:12
Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

I've also asked for evidence from Scripture that refutes Eph 1:13,14 about the sealing with the Holy Spirit, which is a guarantee of our inheritance for the day of redemption.

Another clear statement of eternal security.

God gave His Son so you could live eternally through Him. In Him you have this life that is eternal, away from Him you do not have it. Eternal life is not a 'thing' that is passed from one hand to another - it's a LIFE that exists eternally with the only eternal God.

No need to refute Ephesians 1:13-14. Its a true statement. In Christ we are sealed, and only in Him are we sealed. He is the seal of God on us.

None of what I've posted is my way. It's ALL from Scripture.

1. God's will is that those who believe will HAVE eternal life. John 6:40
2. WHEN a person believes in Jesus Christ, they HAVE eternal life.
3. Jesus gives them (believers) eternal life (WHEN they believe) and they will NEVERE PERISH. John 10:28

This is biblical and therefore irrefutable.
And only in Christ do we have this life because we are mortal beings. Therefore, we have to have life continue in us from Him. We cannot live apart from Him. That's His way. We cannot just come to Him and get something from Him and then turn away.

Check the context. Which is about the Tribulation ONLY.
This life is all tribulation. We are in constant tribulation.

Act 14:21-22
When they had preached the gospel to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.

Check the next 2 verses. Eternal life is received by faith in Jesus Christ.
Eternal life is given to us, we either believe it and continue in it - or deny it and loose out on it. You cannot do anything to earn it or keep it. It is a gift of God, not of works - of any kind.

Eph 2:8-10
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Enduring is about reigning, not getting into heaven. Many believers will get into heaven but not everyone will reign with Him.

And, from the context, what is being denied is the privilege of reigning with Him.

Note that enduring and denying are opposites.
All believers will be in heaven, and all believers will reign with Him. Those who deny Him will be denied by Him before the Father.

Mat 10:32-33
So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.

Your right, enduring and denying are opposites. Those who endure will reign with Him, those who deny are sent away from Him - He will deny those who deny Him. There is no life apart from Him.

Again, there is no commentary, or explanation of mine in the post, it is scripture; only scripture.
So, what does it mean to you?

So your not disagreeing with me or my explanation, or my understanding, is purely scripture.
Let me know what it means to you, and then I'll get back. I've already explained what it really means.

  • 5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, Romans 2:5-8
I don't see the phrase "sinless perfection" in this passage of scripture.
How would I know what you're seeing, since you've not given any commentary on it?

Could you read it again, and point out why you made such a claim, that only "sinless perfection" will earn eternal life?
Sure. "continually doing good". Who in the human race has done that?

Do you believe eternal life is for those who continually do evil?
Is this referring to anyone who has ever received the gift of eternal life?

It is seen. It is seen clearly. The promise is to those in Him, and only those in Him.
Then the next obvious question is why some do not see eternal security in Eph 1:13,14.

No need to refute Ephesians 1:13-14.
Of course there's no need to refute any verse in the Bible. And Eph 1:13,14 refutes the notion that salvation can be lost.

Its a true statement.
Of course it's true.

In Christ we are sealed, and only in Him are we sealed. He is the seal of God on us.
But what has been not seen is the FACT that the Holy Spirit is a deposit GUARANTEEING our inheritance for the day of redemption.

How can anyone not realize that IF a saved person ends up perishing, this guarantee is worthless?? And Jesus' promise is just as worthless.

A guarantee, especially from God, is just that. The indwelling Holy Spirit guarantees our inheritance.

The loss of salvation view has our inheritance lost on the day of redemption. Which is refuted by Eph 1:13,14.

This life is all tribulation. We are in constant tribulation.
Nope. The endure to the end verses are about the GREAT tribulation. The 7 year one in Revelation.

Eternal life is given to us, we either believe it and continue in it - or deny it and loose out on it.
How can one who has been given eternal life "loose out on it" since Jesus promised that those He gives eternal life will never perish??

Your statement is in direct contrast to Jesus' promise. How can that not be seen clearly???

You cannot do anything to earn it or keep it. It is a gift of God, not of works - of any kind.
One also cannot get rid of it in any way either. Or the Bible would have made that CLEAR.

All believers will be in heaven, and all believers will reign with Him.
Please cite or quote any verse that says this. Such an idea denies the reality of reward in heaven. Never mind the word "reward" occurs 24 times in the NIV, and 25 times in the NASB.

Those who deny Him will be denied by Him before the Father.
Yes. This is a denial of reward, not of salvation.

If any believer can be denied entrance into heaven, then Eph 1:13,14 and John 10:28 cannot be true.

I just don't know how that cannot be seen.

Your right, enduring and denying are opposites. Those who endure will reign with Him, those who deny are sent away from Him
What verse says "those who deny are sent away from Him"???? The passage sure doesn't. Was this just a made up comment?

Please share the verse that teaches that a person who has believed and been sealed with the Holy Spirit can be unsealed.

Let's just move past your unwillingness to explain the verses quoted, repeated questions and non-answers to my questions and get to the heart of the issue.

Claiming that any believer, by definition one who has received eternal life, which makes them a recipient of eternal life, CAN PERISH for any reason, is a claim directly OPPOSED to the claim of Jesus Himself, who said those He gives eternal life will NEVER PERISH.

How can any recipient of eternal life perish, since Jesus said THEY WILL NEVER PERISH???

If any one can show how that would be possible, then they have also shown the Bible to be errant and in contradiction with itself.

Who wants to do that?

Sure. "continually doing good". Who in the human race has done that?

No where in Romans 2:6-8 does the phrase sinless perfection appear.

His disciples, including Paul demonstrated the lifestyle Jesus intended us to walk in, as well as taught us how we are to live, which is by God's grace, the power of His Spirit given to those who believe.

  • Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.

11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Titus 2:11-14

the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us:
  • denying ungodliness and worldly lusts
  • we should live soberly
  • righteously
  • and godly in the present age
...that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

I believe Paul walked in this lifestyle.

Also explaining that those who live according to the sinful desires of the flesh, will have no part in the kingdom of God, on the Day of judgement.

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21

  • Those Christians who set their minds on the things of the flesh, to gratify it's lustful desires, will perish.

5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:5-6

17 Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. 18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. Philippians 3:17-19

God has given us His Spirit, to empower us to walk according to the Spirit.

This requires an effort on our part, to turn away from ungodly, immoral things, and set our minds of things above, things that are holy, righteous, and pure.

As we are young in the Lord, we need Godly examples to follow, and learn how to be led by the Spirit, and not by the desires of the flesh.

  • If we sin, then we confess our sin, and He is faithful to cleanse us of all unrighteousness.

As we grow older in the Lord, He expects more from us, than that of a baby Christian.

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19

  • Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Since there has been zero attempts to explain what you think this means, how does it help?

Further, my question was again ignored.

Is your view that a recipient of eternal life CAN perish? yes or no. Let's just be honest about this.

Quoting a verse without any explanation does NOT answer any questions.

The cited verses above do NOT answer whether a recipient of eternal life can perish.

If no answer is forthcoming, I will understand the unwillingness to show your hand.

But just know this: claiming that any recipient of eternal life can perish is directly OPPOSED to Jesus' claim that they WILL NEVER PERISH.

I just don't know why anyone would want to be in that position of OPPOSING the promise of Jesus.

Doing so is a demonstration of lack of faith or believing in what He promises.

Here is what scripture says:

  • eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; Romans 2:7

If you believe this scripture doesn't mean what it says, then feel free to disregard it, and teach others to disregard it as well.

I myself, choose to take heed to what this says, as well as this:

Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. John 5:28-29

  • all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.
  • those who have done good, to the resurrection of life
  • those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

It seems you are promoting the idea that those who believe and are born again, and are baptized in water, and baptized with the Holy Spirit, are free to live immoral, evil lives just as those of the world, even turning to serve other gods of other religions, and still receive eternal life on the Day of judgement.

  • Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 1 John 3:7

Then the next obvious question is why some do not see eternal security in Eph 1:13,14.
I'm not sure why some don't see eternal security in those passages. I do.

Of course there's no need to refute any verse in the Bible. And Eph 1:13,14 refutes the notion that salvation can be lost.
It actually does not refute that salvation can be lost. It only states that salvation is in Christ, and that He is the guarentee of our inheritence. If you would, please copy and paste, then underline where it says "salvation cannot be lost".

Eph 1:13-14
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

Of course it's true.
Yep, your right.

No, the guarantee is never worthless. It is only worthless to those who consider it worthless. Those who deny the seal obviously consider it worthless. I have never read that God forces someone to consider something of worth, but rather gives people the ability to choose for themselves what they will worship.

If you choose to deny the inheritance God will not force it on you. Do you believe God forces people to believe?

Nope. The endure to the end verses are about the GREAT tribulation. The 7 year one in Revelation.
Hmmmmm. I was quoting out of Matthew. I am pretty sure I did not read about a "GREAT tribulation - 7 year period". Could you please underline post where it says that in Matthew. I read the following.

Mat 24:9-14
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

How can one who has been given eternal life "loose out on it" since Jesus promised that those He gives eternal life will never perish??

Your statement is in direct contrast to Jesus' promise. How can that not be seen clearly???
The person who looses out on eternal life is the person who is not in Christ. Only Christ is eternal(with the Father and Spirit), so only He has eternal life. Do you believe you are eternal like God?

You must receive eternal life from the one who has it unless you are eternal yourself. I have found that the one who first believed that was cast out of heaven for being so proud to think such a thing.

Eze 28:9-10
Will you still say, ‘I am a god,’
in the presence of those who kill you,
though you are but a man, and no god,
in the hands of those who slay you?
You shall die the death of the uncircumcised
by the hand of foreigners;
for I have spoken, declares the Lord GOD.

One also cannot get rid of it in any way either. Or the Bible would have made that CLEAR.
You are free to reject a gift. There are many who reject the gift of God.

Heb 12:25
See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven.

Please cite or quote any verse that says this. Such an idea denies the reality of reward in heaven. Never mind the word "reward" occurs 24 times in the NIV, and 25 times in the NASB.
Rev 5:9-10
And they sang a new song, saying,
“Worthy are you to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation,
and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God,
and they shall reign on the earth.

Where does the Bible say that only some will reign with Christ?

Yes. This is a denial of reward, not of salvation.

If any believer can be denied entrance into heaven, then Eph 1:13,14 and John 10:28 cannot be true.

I just don't know how that cannot be seen.
Oh, I would not say they cannot be true. I personally believe all that the Bible says is true.

Mat 22:11-14
“But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ For many are called, but few are chosen.”

The man who was cast out tried to get into the feast with his own garments. How does one receive the wedding garment Christ gives?

What verse says "those who deny are sent away from Him"???? The passage sure doesn't. Was this just a made up comment?

Please share the verse that teaches that a person who has believed and been sealed with the Holy Spirit can be unsealed.

If there aren't any such verses, why should anyone believe such an idea?
I tell you what, if you can show me the verses that say someone cannot be unsealed, then I will believe you. But if you cannot, then why should anyone believe such an idea?

Heb 3:12-15
Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.
As it is said,
“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

Christ died for you FreeGrace , you can either believe it and dwell in His righteousness - or you can deny it and dwell in your own righteousness. You cannot do both.

If the statement about "enduring to the end" is really about being eternally saved through enduring, then Jesus' promise cannot be true.

Because He based the fact of never perishing on the reception of eternal life in John 10:28.

If your understanding were correct, Jesus would have had to promise this instead:
"I give them eternal life, and as long as they endure to the end, they will never perish."

But He didn't make that promise, with any condition.

If that is true, then Jesus' promise as stated in Jn 10:28 cannot be true. His promise creates contradiction with other verses.

I reject any idea that any verse contradicts any other verse.

John 10:28 is talking about his sheep. His sheep will never perish. I don't see any contradiction. His sheep will endure to the end.

Jesus had to endure temptation and hardship and hatred and violence, even unto death; He never denied the truth.

Matthew 10:22
and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Matthew 13:21
yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away.

Matthew 24:13
But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Why ask questions of posters who've asked questions of you that you haven't answered?

But I'm always ready and willing to clarify my views and defend the Truth.

Christians who practice sin are positionally righteous, being in union with Christ (Eph 1:13,14). Meaning, they have Christ's imputed righteousness, and are therefore not under judgment. But they are progressively NOT righteous. And are under God's mighty hand of discipline for it.
