Transgenderism, "pronoun" edict illustrates the axiom:
Really!!!!!????? That's what you got? Because some loonies have their panties in a wad over calling people that are caught up in depraved sexual identity crisis the pronouns that they want to be called... that defines the left for you.

Hey, I can assure you that I'm probably left of your thinking. But I'm not in agreement that we need to coddle those struggling through identity issues of their created sexual identity. However, I have read the book. I know that these things are promised to come and will be considerably worse just prior to our Lord's return. I'm particularly drawn to this piece of Paul's warning to us of the practice of sin that was future to his day: "They invent ways of doing evil." This is exactly the kind of thing that Paul was alluding to. This issue of pronouns is an invented way of doing evil that didn't exist even 100 years ago.

Paul writes that we shouldn't judge those who are not a part of us. Further, I understand that we live under a democratic form of governance which is generally going to mean that the majority gets their way. Certainly, on issues that are dealt with through our legislative process. So, as I understand it, we're to let the world go the way the world is going to go. However, our mandate is to tell everyone who will listen about Jesus. Drop all the finger pointing and condemnation for sin. Keep in mind that you're going to be judged in the same way in which you have judged others. That Paul tells us that such judging over sin is pretty much for within the congregation of believers. He literally writes: "What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?"

So, I believe that once we really understand what God wants of us - it is not to judge the world just as He hasn't yet sent His Son in judgment - it is to proclaim the gospel of eternal life promised to those who trust the testimony and work of His Son. God has already tried to make a group of sinners live by His righteous law before Jesus came. That didn't work out particularly well for that group of people... if we believe the Scriptures. How anyone can be so dense as to think that man can do a better job of it through some governmental legislative process. Read the book!!! It isn't going to go that way!

So stop pointing fingers and declaring everyone to be either right or left depending on whether they listen to one agenda over another. We aren't any of us so easily pigeonholed. There are Republicans that do believe that Grump didn't win the last election. There are Republicans that support some form of abortion services. We aren't so easily defined by our political association as to what we each actually believes on every issue of that party. It just doesn't work that way and never has.

Try doing it God's way. Let the concerns over sin in the world take a step back from the ever-present forethought of your mind. Replace it with this command: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." Preach Jesus! Show Jesus! Let the Holy Spirit deal with the rest of it.

God bless,
Ted

You like to accuse people of things they never said. Maybe that qualifies as a defect.
I didn't do that. He is a sophist, rhetorical expert in persuasion. I complimented him, he's mastered the "Art of Deception" (Nicholas Capaldi).

I'm a libertarian, a "classic liberal". We don't like government controlling our lives, speech or the free market. Progressives love all three.

Progressives see the US constitution as a list of "negative rights", because it lists what the Government can't do, rather than what it can do. I feel protected from Government by our constitution, progressives see it as a "strait jacket" preventing them from telling me what to do. How to spend my money. What to believe.

I don't like that. I object. Who gave them the right to tell me anything?

Perhaps you forgot, this is part of the Gospel of Christ:

9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor. 6:9-10 NKJ)

Abortion is murder, not planned parenthood or "reproductive" freedom. Its not reproducing anything.

Perhaps you forgot, God's standards of moral living are very high, so high they cannot be attained without the ransom Christ paid at Calvary:

28 "But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
29 "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. (Matt. 5:28-29 NKJ)

If we don't explain what sin is, who will?

Back to the first. You asked for proof of irrational behavior, a man delusionally believing he is female, and political group that supports the delusion, is evidence of illogic. That they feel virtuous while condemning all who don't agree, indicates their agenda is a religion, manifesto of the ruling cult.

Which, unfortunately for Christians, the progressive cult will continue to grow and evolve:

20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.
21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. (Rev. 9:20-21 NKJ)

10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor. 6:9-10 NKJ)
No, I haven't forgotten that. The unrighteous will not inherit the earth. I think that's pretty much what the word of God is about from the beginning to the day of His judgment. But He doesn't tell any of His children to go out and change it. We're to live differently and we can make our understanding known, but getting anywhere near angry and militant over sin is just stupid!!

I was recently sharing with someone concerning the 'number' of people who may ultimately be saved. Jesus said that 'few' there be that find the narrow gate. He also said that many Christians aren't going to be in his Book of Life. So, I'm pretty confident that I'm never going to be living in a city, county, state, country or any geographical marking off of an area of the earth that is ever going to follow God's law. And God doesn't ask us to fight against all those principalities except through the proclamation of the truth of our salvation made available through His Son's great sacrifice.

We are commanded to live among them, but to not be a part of them. Paul specifically cautions us against judging those outside of the fellowship. LISTEN!!! Put your ear up close! THOSE PEOPLE ARE SINNERS AND YOUR MAKING THEM OBEY GOD'S LAW ISN'T GOING TO SAVE THEM!!!!!!!! PREACH THE GOSPEL!!!!! By the law shall no flesh be saved. It is only and forever faith in the person and relationship with God's Son, Jesus. Once that relationship is established... THEN WE ARE TO TEACH THEM ALL THAT HE HAS COMMANDED US!!!!!! You have the cart before the horse.

You think that you're doing the will of God by condemning sin in others who are dead in their sins anyway. Why would they care? Why would they care what you think if they don't know Jesus? What do you think you're doing for their soul by forcing them to obey the law of God? Without Jesus.

Pray for the lost and do good to the one who persecutes you. For by so doing, you heap hot coals upon their heads. By doing good to them you will actually be condemning them far worse than what you think you're accomplishing. And by being good to them and showing the love of Jesus by proclaiming who he is, you will gain a far better harvest in your talent account.

Look!! I get it! Sin is abounding more and more as each generation closes. It always has!!!!! Even in Israel. God would work a great event in their lives and they'd bow down and hail allegiance. Then they'd start wandering again. Following after their wicked hearts more and more as each generation died off. Then God does another great thing in the life of the Jews and they once again put God up there front and center for a while. But then their wicked hearts get to them again. And by the time Jesus gets here, he doesn't have much good to say about the practice of Judaism as the religious authorities have made it. It's those wicked hearts. We all have one. We're born with it! They knew God!!! They were relatives of a people who were saved from extinction by the very hand and miracle of God!!! If the Egytians had gotten away with killing every male Hebrew baby, there wouldn't be any more Jewish race. That would have happened a few thousand years ago. But no!!! God saved them! The Jews, of all the people groups on the face of the earth have more reason and heritage to know God than any other group of people... but they don't!!!!! Sin has always been going to become exactly what it has become. People are inventing ways of doing evil!!

They are relatives of the people who wandered for 40 years in the wilderness listening to and hearing God's voice speaking to them. Just as those in attendance at Jesus' baptism. That's who the Jews are, but a vast majority of them have not understood 'who' the Messiah that Isaiah and the other prophets foretold. They just never did get that. Even today, there are few Jews who understand that Jesus of Nazareth was their Messiah.

Now trust that God's got all the drama handled as far as our political and financial futures are concerned. Nothing that's happening is any surprise to Him. And if you've soaked in His word, shouldn't be any surprise to you either. The world is not going to get saved by us running around trying to make the laws of our nation follow along with the laws that God has given us. It just isn't going to happen!!! In fact! The issues and problems and rampant practice of unrighteousness is going to get worse. Likely a lot worse!!! But then Jesus returns. Praise God!!! That event could happen in the next 5 years as far as all the things that the Scriptures tell us will be going on when we are collected from the harvest and taken to be with the Lord while God releases His long pent up wrath on all that unrighteousness that you're concerned about. Don't worry, everyone's going to get what they've worked for in their lives. Leave vengeance for perceived wrongs up to those who don't think there's a righteous judgment coming.

You! Go forth proclaiming the love of God through His Son, Jesus. Then for those who will believe, have them baptized. Then teach them to obey all that he has commanded us. Without the first part, making people live by the laws of God just makes them hate us even more. "Oh, it's just because they believe in some great being that's going to zap us all one day. You know the whole let there be light crap." Then they will turn to you and say, "Why should I live by or support some antiquated way of living because of some book you've read that everyone's going to be lifted up in the sky one day. Get a life, man! My parents were born in the 'if it feels good do it' generation and I'm feelin' pretty good."

Then you aren't a classical liberal. We mostly call ourselves "libertarians" these days. And I'm glad that the government is constrained from telling me what to do, how to spend my money, and what to believe. (It is a libertarian notion that my right to swing my arm ends at your nose, so there are legitimate limits on what I am free to do to others)

What a great meme. Just today we got proof of that. Rep. Jim Jordan is saying that the new 'truth' that the FBI informant is now saying is the truth about the allegations made regarding the Bidens taking money from Burisma for some nefarious reason was all made up and came from Russian operators. Because that doesn't jive with what Jordan and Comer have been spending all of our hard earned tax dollars to prove; Jordan says the new 'truth' is the lie.
Some republican congressman has apparently admitted that Comer knew this informant was unreliable. The informant has since admitted that Russian intelligence gave him the story that the republicans were peddling.

DOJ Warned Republicans About Publicizing Unverified Report From FBI Informant

An official told lawmakers "the FBI regularly receives information from sources with significant potential biases."

The former FBI informant charged with lying about the Bidens’ dealings in Ukraine told investigators after his arrest that Russian intelligence officials were involved in passing information to him about Hunter Biden, prosecutors said Tuesday in a new court filing, noting that the information was false.

Prosecutors also said Alexander Smirnov has been “actively peddling new lies that could impact US elections” after meeting with Russian spies late last year and that the fallout from his previous false bribery accusations about the Bidens “continue to be felt to this day.”

I had assumed that the republicans on the House committee were merely "useful fools" for Putin. It now appears that they were actively involved in an effort to undermine our government.

Not angry. I can't "water down" God is Holy and cannot abide with sin. I believe billions will be saved. The text you cited is out of context. Few of Christ's evil and wicked generation will be saved, but many will come from the four corners of the earth and sit in God's kingdom:

However, they won't be saved unless they repent of their sin, be "Beggers of the Spirit", cry out to God for Mercy, and He will have mercy:

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. (Jas. 4:8-10 NKJ)

Everyone must "sell all they own" in their heart, everything for the pearl of great price:

44 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
45 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,
46 "who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. (Matt. 13:44-46 NKJ)

If the righteous are saved with difficulty, where will the unrepentant wicked stand?

Now "If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?" (1 Pet. 4:18 NKJ)

God so loved the world He gave His Son that the world through Him might be saved, but if any may love not the LORD Jesus Christ, "let him be accursed":

16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
21 "But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God." (Jn. 3:16-21 NKJ)

If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come! (1 Cor. 16:22 NKJ)

Sinners must repent, and believe in the LORD Jesus Christ, THEN they will received the free gift of the Holy Spirit, and eternal life:

37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."
40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation." (Acts 2:37-40 NKJ)

I do not preach obey the law, I preach Christ risen from the Dead, and all must repent and believe.

It is the "Man of Sin, Son of Perdition" who deceives the people God will forgive their unrepentant hearts.

A sophist can insult and imply and retain "plausible deniability":

The fact that AP goes straight to an assumed negative outcome (an immigrant attacking you) is pretty indicative of....well, I'll let folks decide what it indicates.-#845

That's quite revealing how you went straight to "bigot" when I never used the word.
Seems like you know exactly what you're doing, but you just don't care. - #848

The constitution defines what government cannot do, very little what it can do leaving most law sto the people, the states.

Liberals do not call themselves Libertarians, because they are progressives. They want big government, rule upon rule, leaving very little to the people to decide for themselves. It is said the ruling class (Progressives) consider us too stupid to govern ourselves.

Progressives believe they are the smartest people in the room. That's why the world is in flames, wars and disaster sprouting up everywhere, because the smart people are now running the show.

I understand why Progressives are angry with me. But I cannot deny what my eyes see, with a few euphemisms the following describes the progressive movement today and what it will evolve into:

But the rest of mankind, who were progressives, rejoiced in craftmanship of their hands, worshiping the spirit guides and gods celebrating them with crafted images made from valuable materials of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, manifesting divine.
And they rejoiced silencing Christians, casting white magic spells and sexual liberation, forcing all who had money or property pay for those who had none.

In scripture, the evolution of todays progressive/new age movement, which is fast becoming the majority in the West and will be the end time generation the welcomes the Man of Sin, Son of Perdition to be their King, is described slightly differently. But its self-evident its the same group of progressive-new agers:

20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.
21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.
(Rev. 9:20-21 NKJ)

Hi Alfred Persson
Not angry. I can't "water down" God is Holy and cannot abide with sin
That is correct. That's why we know that we aren't yet in the 1k year reign of Christ. Right now we're in the time of God's patience and He's patiently waiting to see who will hear His call. He doesn't ask us to go out and beat the world over the head concerning their sin. He asks us to show them the mercy that He has offered them through His Son. Whether they're deeply sinful people or just, I don't know God sinful. God doesn't ask us to fix that. Through His word and His Son He has told us about our sin and encourages all who will to come to the truth of 'who' Jesus is and how he's the only way out of this without condemnation. 'If' that happens, then the Holy Spirit and the 'church' will help them in living a righteous life.

Big sinners and little sinners alike will all stand before God and it isn't going to make a whit of difference that you may have stopped someone from being queer. Or stopped someone from having an abortion. Or stopped all the drug trafficking in the world. If you didn't show them God's mercy for them by the work of His Son... then you've failed at the mission that Jesus has asked each of us who follow him to do. We are not to judge the world. They are lost. They are going to their place. All we can do is cast out a life ring for them to grab on to if they want to be saved.

No one is watering down God and I would call you on why you think that what I'm saying is somehow watering down God. I'm trying to obey God and you know what He told me to do? Love Him with all that I am and love others at least as much as I love myself. Love is what God wants us to preach. Yes, we're all sinners. You me and the guy standing on the corner. The cure for sin is Jesus and only Jesus! No amount of trying to follow the law without him will save anyone.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Yes, preach that!!!

"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
That's right!!! And neither has He sent you to judge the world!

Billions will be saved, not just a few:

You do know that 'few' is not a specific number, right? It's a relative term. Yes, seeing as how there have been some 100 billion people to inhabit the earth, I would imagine the number to possibly be in the low billions.

You really shouldn't add to God's word. Trust me, there will be a lot more than progressives whose names are not in the Lamb's Book of Life.

God bless,
Ted

. You see, the mass of illegal immigrants who obey the laws

That dont really make sense, sounds kind of contradictory. Are you saying a law breaker is law abiding?.

Anyhow, with the hundreds of thousands of laes and regulaioons i woukd be surprused if anyone has never broken the law even unintentionally. I mean Moses gave his people like just over 600 and that was a burden.

I'm saying that illegal immigrants are much less likely to commit crimes than native born Americans are.

The study found that undocumented immigrants had substantially lower crime rates than native-born citizens and legal immigrants across a range of felony offenses. Relative to undocumented immigrants, U.S.-born citizens are over 2 times more likely to be arrested for violent crimes, 2.5 times more likely to be arrested for drug crimes, and over 4 times more likely to be arrested for property crimes. In addition, the proportion of arrests involving undocumented immigrants in Texas was relatively stable or decreasing over this period. The differences between U.S.-born citizens and undocumented immigrants are robust to using alternative estimates of the broader undocumented population, alternate classifications of those counted as “undocumented” at arrest and substituting misdemeanors or convictions as measures of crime.

You should tell the truth, even if you feel you have "plausible deniability."
The constitution defines what government cannot do, very little what it can do leaving most law sto the people, the states.
It also defines what it can do. Red it and see.
It is said the ruling class (Progressives) consider us too stupid to govern ourselves.
That was Trump's claim. I don't think he's a progressive.
Progressives believe they are the smartest people in the room.
I don't figure I'm smart enough to know what others think of their own intelligence.
That's why the world is in flames, wars and disaster sprouting up everywhere, because the smart people are now running the show.
I don't see Putin and leaders of Hamas as being all that bright.

I'm a libertarian, a "classic liberal".
Well, let's test that claim.

Do you support abortion?
Do you support teacher-led prayer in school?
Do you favor same-sex marriage?
Do you support unlimited immigration?

Let us know. Then we'll compare it to libertarian positions.

Teacher led prayer in schools?.

Civil rights written in law are for life and security of the people. Basically says everyone has the right to freedom of religion and belief and to hold opinions without interference and have the right to manifest there religion in worship, observance, practice, or teaching individually or in community with others either both in public or private.

Without interference i guess would mean government cannot interfere, so a government funded state school would have to uphold those values.

Any religion of any teacher, yet at the same time everyone else is also protected equally where they do not have to participate in the prayer if they do not want because that is there own personal choice and belief as a civil right and protection. You cannot force someone to participate or focre someone to not openly pray in there personal belief.

There are people in private religious schools of other religions and they can do there own thing, they just dont take part in specific things, maybe like church service or the bible study daily class if its a christian school for example, they will go do something else they want to do for that time period they are bot forced to participate. There is no problem or discrimination.

Thats a good value because everyone is protected equally. Thats why its called life and security of the person. Thats why civil rights are written in law, there for a valid reason.

If a muslim in a public school they need to leave the room and go pray there 5 times a day or whatever then they have that right and they are protected and should not be discriminated against for that.

I went to a school and no one was discriminated against, my class had a jew, a muslim, a christian, and a sikh and we were all good buddies. The teacher led a prayer as they was a christian and some payed attention and those not interested started reading a book or just gaze out the window or day dream, the teacher never questioned or said nothing if no one was praying with them. There was no problem. No one cared. Each to there own.

I dont think its governements duty or responsibility to get involved in peoples personal lives and peoples beliefs and opinions. I guess thats why the words freedom and liberty are engraved in so called free democratic countries and values written in law.

I mean everything has limits, as long as its peaceful, i mean if someone is thretening or inciting violence towards others in there beliefs or world view that is when government can interfere as there is obviously laws around violence. People cannot be violent or incite violence or threaten others, thats when law enforcement can get involved and people can recieve a penalty. Those people who are being threatened or assaulted have the right to be protected and law enforcement will step in if needed. Its a good thing. The Law has good values written within it.

Well I read the first few pages. The proud boys are not a far right anything. They are a drinking club.
The facts are in, the entire Jan 6 sham was done by the those whom run the country.
Just like Gulf of Tonkin were 65,000 of my school aged people died for nothing.
We believed the lies.
Now they are jailing people because of their political side.

George Orwell had it right in animal farm. In the end the pigs, cows and horses all looked the same and did the same thing.
