im not saying fish isn't better then other meats but the fish we eat isn't all that. it does have a high content at times of hg. aka mercury, and other things. I don't like eating raw oysters any more nor clams as they live in the lagoon locally.

remember when you go vegan it takes what to grow? fertilizer that goes where in the rains here in my state? to the lagoon and also that big lake in the article and in the middle of my state. the kills a ton of fish yearly when its discharged.

However, eating raw bloody meat disgust us as humans. This is why we must cook it and season it to buffer the taste of the flesh.

I eat raw fish all the time, i love it, and also i like my cow very rare. The less cooked the better. If we had no fire or cooking i would be more than happy to eat raw Cows and Fish with no seasoning, and also drink milk straight from a cow, goat, whatever. Its all good stuff and natural.

But I would never touch pigs or Chickens. I have eaten raw chicken eggs before and they disgusting.

Surely we were made to eat both meat and vege.

Naturaly nothing looks more attractive than a big fresh juicy peach on a tree, or apple or whatever. Fruit is good.

I understand the rationale behind being a vegetarian. All of the proteins available in meats are found in plant life and more easily digestible. Almost any bean and brown rice make a complete protein. I've read that about 60-70% of our daily intake is supposed to be raw fruits & veggies, but what kind of life would it be without a good steak or a good fish fry?

I like fish or meat. Fish is good brain food. There's not a lot of food that I don't like. I know that our teeth do not support being true meat eaters, but we have enough canines to get by, lol.

Lewis, would you like the side of the story? We are meat eaters! Want the proof?! It in Acts.

Acts 10:9-13 :lol

9 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”/(NIV)

Nuff said.
So what kind of fish has 4 legs? :chin

I think the vegans are :screwloose
No offense to any resident vegans!

fish is brain food? its a code that the germans used to signal the military to move.

Fish is brain food.
True. Many fish are high in omega-3 fats, which contribute to brain health. The problem comes with eating fish taken frompolluted water and that is an article for another day.

I've heard of fishermen that were growing bald, and they would rub the fish all over their heads and the hair would grow back.

Rub fish on someone's head?:shocked Cooked fish or fried fished or roasted fish or live fish? If fried does it require G Oil or red oil? If roasted, should that be over a F place or in an oven? If cooked, does it require salt? If live, should it be dead or alive? :biggrinunno :shrug :confused

I would think that it would be raw fish. Cooking always destroys some of the nutrition from the heat. A shame, but most folks I've seen overcook game meat. A fear of bad organisms I think is what drives it. Which is certainly cleaned up with the pre meal blessing, is what I have always believed.

And 'frying' would do more harm
