  • Thank you for the kind words of affirmation. True, there are many birds who do not use their feathers for flight, nor even fly. It is an argument made by those who hope to throw their opponent off, hoping they are ones to just "believe their word".

If you get into the forums, I will see you there. :)

    Greetings!
I hope that this message finds you in good health and high spirits[smile]. It is I, John [a.k.a."Green Man"], and as I am not yet allowed to post within the threads labeled "Christianity and Science", I came here to tell you that you are correct about avian wings being used for other things aside from the function of flight, especially in relation to mating and intimidation, as for example, this is exactly what male Ostriches use their wings for. Does he think that all Penguins simply instantly popped into existence with stream-lined bodies and flipper-like wings to help them swim through the water?
Perhaps I can get into this in greater depth later after I get permission to post there with you[Does it strike you as odd that one needs permission to post within the science threads? Are they worried about something? It just seems suspicious to me.], but until then, I just wanted to give you this little pat upon the back...figuratively speaking[smile].
