I think that's largely up to one's interpretation.
But the protagonists use magic and such, so it's not exactly atheism, not in the usual usage of the word.
Um...no. Have you played the game before you judged it? I mean the whole game.
The group of assassins that the protagonist works for in...
Wow, and here I thought I was the only one who felt bad for the insects that get squished all the time.
I usually take spiders and insects outside when I see them...which is awful for me because I hate bugs, especially spiders.
Re: The Hidden Reality of Abortion  Empowering Men
I think abortion can be a very complicated issue. And if I were to decide the outcomes of situations like these, I haven't a clue what I would do, in all honesty.
I would understand the father's desire to have the child and his pain if...
Re: The Hidden Reality of Abortion  Empowering Men
I agree, it can be life changing for both parents. And really, I think it should be. Too often I see the man show such a lack of caring for the child, unborn or otherwise.
And I also agree that both parents should have a say in the...
Re: The Hidden Reality of Abortion  Empowering Men
Good point but I still lean towards thinking the woman should at least have more rights to the child until it's born.
Empathy/sympathy may cause the man to feel certain things but personally, I doubt it could be as much as the direct...
I suppose that makes sense.
If you're asking me personally whether I would allow my children to see such things, it would largely depend on age. But I get what you're saying. :nod
Re: The Hidden Reality of Abortion  Empowering Men
I agree, but in my opinion they should have less rights when it comes to this sort of thing, as men don't have to carry the baby in their womb and give birth to it.
To be honest, I don't think it should be something you have to think about. It should just come to you.
I don't have to go out of my way to compliment my girlfriend, I want to because I truly feel that she is beautiful, wonderful, and such things when I call her that.
Basically, my advice is to...
Fair enough. There are certainly enough religions out there to make that task quite daunting and it would make for a very large post.
I have not, perhaps I'll look into it.
Personally, I don't think the Bible meant much exaggerated fantasy sorcery when it warned against sorcery.
I suppose at this point, it's up to one's interpretation of the Bible. :/
While I agree that it may not necessarily be the wisest of decisions to move in together if you want to resist temptation, I do not think that it is not biblical, as long as the temptation is still resisted while living together.
I do think, however, that it's probably best for a Christian not...
I suppose that would depend on what sort of atheist we're talking about.
Technically speaking, anyone without a belief in God/gods is an atheist.
So in that respect, I believe people are born atheists. But then again, as it's difficult to communicate with newborns, for all we know they could...
Ah, I see. That's right. I should have known that, I've studied both Buddhism and Christianity a bit. Oops, I guess I just wasn't thinking. :shrug
It's an interesting concept, I think. A Christian Buddhist...
Well I don't think all women get distant, and I think some men get distant as well.
I think it largely depends on the person, really.
There could be a lot of reasons for it.
Maybe something upset her, maybe she just likes time to herself sometimes, maybe it's her period, etc.
As for dealing with...
I have a PS2, PS3, Nintendo 64, and a Wii.
I used to have an NES(Nintendo Entertainment System), Atari 2600, and Sega Genesis(AKA Sega MegaDrive) but I lost all 3. :(
I also used to have a PSP but it broke.
Anyway,
I don't much like the Wii, buying that was my father's decision. I love the...
Hm...I've noticed people speaking against long hair on males because of its association with females and/or homosexuality.
Quite honestly, I don't think that should matter. Not every guy has long hair for those reasons.
I, for one, simply prefer long hair and always have. It feels more natural...
