YE creationism endorsed racism for a long time. Many of them were polygenicists, denying that black people were even descended from Adam and Eve. But evolutionary theory has shown that there are no biological human races. Still, well into the 1990s, YE creationists like ICR co-founder Henry Morris was preaching about the supposed intellectual and spiritual inferiority of black people.

Today, most creationists have rejected the racist foundations of their belief. But not all of them.
