A couple and some armed robbers

A man and his wife were traveling to a distant city in the man's car. Halfway, they were attacked by some armed robbers who successfully overpowered them.

The man and the wife were made to leave the car.

"I just need one thing from you," the leader of the armed robbers said. He looked at the man's beautiful wife and then looked at his expensive and elegant car.

"What do you want me to do?" the man asked, looking at the robbers.

"Rather than killing the two of you, I want you to either give me your wife or your car!"

The man was terrified. He looked at his beautiful wife and sighed. He looked at his expensive car and shook his head negatively.

"Do not waste our time!":bigfrown The leader barked

The man finally looked at the wife, and then at the car and finally said: "You can take both of them!!!"

"Why?" he asked the man, his face frowned into confusion. "I said release one for us."

"You can take both of them!!!!" The man said again. His boldness was obvious.

"Why would you want to release both?"
He looked at the leader of the armed robbers and then looked at both the wife and car and said: "You can take both of them - for both of them cost me money to maintain.

Just imagine the woman who cries to the husband:
the children starve
the children starve
Oh bring some money and lets fills the pots,
our bellies are empty!!!

The man gives her some dough, a 100 bucks. Woman smiles, goes to the nearest salon and squanders the money on her head:bigfrown

And when asked, How about the pots, she says: cleanliness first.

What kind of woman is that?

a jobless woman , plain housewife maybe ;) if she has her own income she won't beg to the husband for a makeover...

but not all jobless and plain housewives are like that, take for example the wife in Proverbs 31: 10-31

A charity organisation was donating some dough to some widows. The widows were asked to line up. They did.

A woman whose husband is still alive joined the line. The husband went to her and asked her: "Wht are you doing? I'm still alive!"

She said: "You are a living ghost - you are as dead."

in this case , the woman is totally trumpling her husband's pride. I believe that it's biblical that the man should be the main provider of family, the woman is there to be his partner ,helper and supporter. If God is the center of their relationship then respect will just always be there.
