THE FLIES AND THE HONEY-POT

A Number of Flies were attracted to a jar of honey which had been
overturned in a housekeeper’s room, and placing their feet in it, ate
greedily. Their feet, however, became so smeared with the honey that they
could not use their wings, nor release themselves, and were suffocated.
Just as they were expiring, they exclaimed, “O foolish creatures that we
are, for the sake of a little pleasure we have destroyed ourselves.â€Â

Yes, this is true. I agree with you on that. It is important that we stay close to Jesus because as these end times days draws, closer. Satan's influence will get stronger and stronger, only those who are closes to Him will be able to fight off Satan's power.

Indeed there are frighting times ahead. We need to be strong and pray for guidance and look continuously
for His return.

Thank you Lee100. I am not too proud to ask for you to pray for me in this regard.

THE OAK AND THE REEDS

A very large Oak was uprooted by the wind and thrown across a stream. It
fell among some Reeds, which it thus addressed: “I wonder how you, who
are so light and weak, are not entirely crushed by these strong winds.
â€Â

They replied, “You fight and contend with the wind, and consequently
you are destroyed; while we on the contrary bend before the least breath
of air, and therefore remain unbroken, and escape.

most lovely sparrow~ dear

~There is a current-day proverb that goes~

Blessed are the flexible~ for they need not be broken. . . :biggrin

Yet we ARE NOT unbroken~ for now~ the voice of cripples call out to the broken... in these last days ...

Christ STOOPED to the depths of human sin, consuming our sin, as God's MOST HOLY offering for our brokeness~ for our crippled state...

And HE invites the cripples and the broken to dine at His table laiden with clean white linen. For our crippled condition is unseen there.

THE MOLE AND HIS MOTHER

A Mole, a creature blind from birth, once said to his Mother: “I am sure
than I can see, Mother!†In the desire to prove to him his mistake, his
Mother placed before him a few grains of frankincense, and asked, “What
is it?’ The young Mole said, “It is a pebble.†His Mother exclaimed: “My
son, I am afraid that you are not only blind, but that you have lost your
sense of smell.
