Have any of you read any of Alfie Kohn's books? While he isn't a Christian, I find that he has some practical knowledge on how to love that some Christians don't even have. I thought "Beyond Discipline: From Compliance to Community" (a book on teaching) was one of his best books. And if anyone simple does a search on him and listens to a little news clip or etc, it really doesn't do him justice. You might think he is an oddball if you only listen to a newsclip. If you check out one of his books, you get the fuller picture.
